Just a few comments, there's other Europeans, Indians, Filipinos, even saw a Brazilian in the comments expressing hope for this channel, so we'll see. They may be doing more mainstream for the time being for international audiences should they get the a-okay, but then bring out older titles over time. Maybe it does depend on interest, but the region-locking seems to be the biggest reason next to the Western localizers doing their shit as to why they want this to happen so badly.
But if this goes well, prepare to see an avalanche of salt from those in Crunchyroll, FUNimation, and others. This may be the wake-up-call for them to get their shit together or die and let someone else take up the reins. Or this will just kill the American market in selling newer anime for the time being, but I don't think anyone's gonna particularly care.
(Also maybe it's unintentional, but the play on "analog" with the nickname "Anilog" and showing older shows is actually really clever.)

I'd say that common sense says that it doesn't matter what representation anyone is; if you're an evil asshole, you're an evil asshole, but common sense is completely lost on people like this. This is just as bad as those new shows on Disney and Crunchyroll where representation is all that makes up the story, character development, and entertainment value.
I'd hate to see what would happen if Funimation ever remastered the Chapter Black arc of Yu Yu Hakusho for a later rerelease. They'd probably invite these fuckers over and emphasize Sensui's and Itsuki's relationship over the fact that they are disturbed individuals; the former being a multiple personality disorder suicidal genocide maniac and the latter a hardcore admirer of Sensui to where he let him become the man who he was to get off to him "like the blackest ink soaking into the whitest sheet of paper" or "a little girl who believes babies come from storks to whoring herself and starring in hardcore pornos" to a level that would make any fujoshi tell them to calm it down.

That's some Bullshit. They started doing the Split season shit and on top of it charging around $40+ for it, so it would be around $80- $90 for one whole season. I could get the whole season of anime back in the day for around $40. It's more ACCESSABLE now but its more expensive also.
