So I was thinking of how to protect ones eyes against laser light.

Know those virtual googles that use your phone as the screen'm'

Any way to convert them as night vision goggles? Use the phone as a camera and so if they shine them its the camera and not the eyes?

I can see using a google cardboard alike (plenty floating around on amazon which aren't made of cardboard), stripping out the lenses and eye partition, and just turning on the camera and using the camera app to see out the other side as a jogger-rigged version of what you're thinking of.

I have some reservations about this idea:
1) Slight delay from when something actually happens to when you see it.
2) Loss of depth perception, camera lenses messing with perception.
3) Keeping the phone screen on.
4) Battery life.

3 can likely be configured around, worst case scenario making a simple purpose built app. 4 can be largely worked around with USB-C or an iPhone (making sure it charges faster than it drains is the goal) hooked up to an external battery pack.

1 and 2 are the bigger concerns in a situation where things can go from fine to utter shit in less than 2 seconds, so I'd consider such a solution a "better than nothing" approach for situations where other risk factors are outweighed by a laser threat. Mileage may vary based on phone, camera lens, etc. You'd want to make sure you train with these to get used to how it screws with perception in general to use them in any meaningful way.


A piece of tech that apparently doesn't work great but employs an interesting design relevant to your line of thinking is the PVS-21, might be worth looking at if you're in an ideas mood.

From what I understand the western economy is based on debt. The stock population of america and europe have been saturated with it. Credit card debt. Mortgages. Car payments.

One reason for mass migration is to import a new pool of potential debt slaves.

About 13 years ago my history teacher told us that "if everyone in America paid off their debt, our economy would collapse."

So get yourself established then try and help your fellows up out of debt.

So let's go over what the riotors objectives are (or could be) and see if they have met them:

1: Goad a reactionary or law enforcement into creating a left wing martyr. FAILED.

2: Bait trump into over reacting.
FAILED.

3: Help gain experience in rioting or using masses to commit political violence. SUCCESS

4: Gain intelligence via riots to gauge how opposition would react to future attempts of mass political violence. SUCCESS.

5: Destroy small businesses in order to remove possible competition to blm/antifa donors.
SUCCESS.

6: Create further racial animosity so to hold black americans hostage to the Democratic party.
SUCCESS.

7: Make property values go down so they can be bought up cheaply then gentrified later for massive profits. SUCCESS

8: Destroy police stations. Maybe to destroy evidence. MODERATE SUCCESS.

What seems be happening is the riotors are losing momentum and aimless. It would be best I'd they had some objectives to keep them going. A good objective for them (not me) would continue to target law enforcement related buildings and attack bank atms.

But no objectives are leading g to loss of momentum and infighting.

Facebook then announced its decision to expand this policy to address organizations and movements that have "demonstrated significant risks to public safety" but do not meet the "rigorous criteria to be designated as a dangerous organization" and banned from the social media platform.

For militia organizations and those encouraging riots, "including some who may identify as Antifa," Facebook reported that it initially removed over 980 groups, 520 Pages, and 160 ads from Facebook and restricted over 1,400 hashtags related to these groups and organizations on Instagram.

However, the site will allow individuals to post content that supports these movements and groups, but will restrict their ability to organize on the platform.

Under this policy expansion, Facebook will impose restrictions to limit the spread of content from Facebook Pages, Groups, and Instagram accounts and such where admins identify discussions of potential violence, including the use of "unveiled language and symbols particular to the movement."

One of the things that keeps appearing in all these riots is the thug/hood gang spray paint tagging in every place they chimp out at. Average Americans have always looked at tagging as a symbol of gangs, thuggery, and scum. Even the MSM is showing footage of areas where even 'peaceful protesters' have tagged the shit out of monuments and buildings, so normies and average Americans are seeing this shit.

The other night, my Based Seattle Friend left mid-conversation without warning and later explained she had to go out and chase away someone trying to tag her car. In conjunction with another Kiwi's thoughts, I'm not surprised that people who post all the right things on social media can still be based enough in private to know that the violence and vandalism espoused and encouraged by BLM and other protesting activists are having the opposite effect than intended with most normies the longer these violent protests continue without abating.

When this all started, people asked me why I don't support BLM.

And my stock answer to not supporting a political movement is always "because political movements always go too far, without fail".

In addition to that, many organized movements tend to be taken over by extremists who corrupt the movement into being something that wasn't originally intended. There's nothing inherently wrong with having concern about Black people being senselessly killed. Supporting a group that resorts to hateful rhetoric and violence in an attempt to get its way, however, is where most normies will draw the line and disavow themselves.

A New Jersey county has suspended an officer at a juvenile detention center over what it described as a racist Facebook post about the fatal shooting of a 5-year-old in North Carolina.

The officer, Rome Smith, allegedly wrote last week that Cannon Hinnant, who was killed Aug. 9 while playing in his front yard with his sisters, "should've ducked," according to screenshots of the post shared online.


"Y'all always trying to sneak diss and discredit a black person being killed innocently by police. Blame cannon's parents for not watching him!!! F Y'ALL," Smith allegedly wrote.

Smith, who is Black, is an officer at the Juvenile Detention Center in Cumberland County. A spokeswoman for the county, Jody Hirata, confirmed to NBC News that Smith is an employee of the county and has been suspended over the post.

Attempts to reach him Tuesday were unsuccessful. His Facebook account appears to have been disabled.

In a statement that did not identify Smith by name, Cumberland County officials condemned the post as "shockingly insensitive and racist in tone" and said it has since been taken down.

"We will not tolerate county employees using social media to broadcast hateful messages," Cumberland County Freeholder Director Joseph Derella said. "This is not who we are and we intend to pursue the strongest action available to us."

Witnesses told police Cannon was riding his bike in the driveway of his family's home in Wilson when a neighbor walked up to him and shot him in the head, according to NBC affiliate WRAL of Raleigh, North Carolina.

The neighbor, identified by police as Darius Nathaniel Sessoms, 25, was arrested and is charged with first-degree murder in Cannon's death. Cannon was white and Sessoms is Black.

Cannon's father, Austin Hinnant, told The Wilson Times that he and Sessoms were not friends, but that they were friendly and that he always checked in with Sessoms’ parents, who lived next door.

Sessoms’ parents said they believe their son was on drugs and having hallucinations at the time of the shooting, The Associated Press reported. His parents could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.

The night prior to the killing, Hinnant said he and Sessoms shared a beer on the front porch.

"I have no idea why he would kill my son in front of his two sisters and his cousin," Hinnant told WRAL. "There was never anything between me and him, any bad blood whatsoever for him to have a reason to do this."

Sessoms made his first in-court appearance Monday. He did not speak during the brief proceeding, The Wilson Times reported. He is being held without bond at the Wilson County Detention Center and does not have an attorney.

Police have not said what prompted the brutal killing. Some social media users have seized on the boy's shooting death to suggest that it is a racially motivated crime.

Hinnant said he has been disturbed by social media posts that falsely suggest race was a factor in Cannon's death.

"This is no racial issue," Hinnant told The Wilson Times.

He said he is praying for those who are making negative comments online and that his son loved everyone he met.

"It didn't matter what color, male or female, he just had that love and joy in his heart," Hinnant said. "He loved everyone."

In a Facebook post, Cannon's mother, Bonny Waddell, urged people not to compare her son's slaying to the death of George Floyd, a Black man who died after a white Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck.

"THIS HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE AND DO NOT COMPARE THIS TO FLOYD!" she wrote. "MY SWEET CANNON NEVER SAW COLOR, HE LOVED EVERYBODY. HE WAS INNOCENT, LOVING ... AND THIS CRUEL MAN TOOK HIM AWAY FROM US FOR NO REASON."
