The left is wanting to use mail in voting to steal the election. To do so, they need to force Trump to give the Post Office, which has an ungodly powerful lefty union, a shitload of money.
Troon's sjws and the DNC have been heavily pushing the idea that Corona Chan makes it too dangerous to go outside and vote and that voting should be restricted to mail in ballots. Trump has responded by cutting the post office's budget which made them shriek even louder.

To most people not blinded by partisan politics, it appears to be a very blatant attempt to rig the election by the left.
Ah yes, and they're trotting out the "election absolutely cannot be rigged or sabotaged (except by Trump/the GOP/Russia)" line. And they're telling us we might not know the election results for several weeks afterward, making it much easier for them to "find" a U-Haul full of Biden votes.... while simultaneously gaslighting us about it.

More importantly, someone who is too scared to vote in person should not be allowed to vote in the first place. The vote is the one method of force the population has against the State and if you are too cowardly to use it without State hand holding then you would also most likely be too scared to defend the Republic if it ran into hard times, and may in fact work against its survival in exchange for safety and comfort.

What is funny is the same people saying its too dangerous to vote in person are all for large crowds of "peaceful protesters" swarming down a city street. The intellectual hypocricy of the Democratic Party stopped being cute a few years ago. its become absolutely contemptible.
>all this autism to justify limiting voting
Jesus Christ, just admit you want a Stratocracy already. It's completely fine, we both know the average pleb can't make good decisions.

Watching you military types (I assume you're military) mentally twist yourselves into pretzels trying somehow justify your views while not violating the at-this-point-byzantine constitution is just sad.

I have admitted that repeatedly. I'll say it again. I want the franchise limited. I am open to a discussion on where the limits need to be put, but I am utterly opposed to making it easier to vote. I don't know why you feel the need to make me "admit" this when I have been completely clear about my opinion on this for years now. I don't want military rule though.

Also, they've been eliminating post office boxes for at least a decade if not longer because, breaking news, email and DMs have caused the mail volume to drop over the years. So they've been getting rid of older unused mailboxes so that post carriers had less to visit every day to make their jobs more efficient.

People saw these older unused mailboxes being taken and started freaking out that "TRUMP IS STEALING OUR ABILITY TO MAIL THINGS!!!"

To modernize a statement attributed to Churchill: "the best argument against democracy is five seconds on Twitter".

People's Pundit Daily discussed this poll today at 1:07:30 in his stream. Some interesting takeaways about how voters are breaking towards Dems/Reps and specifically how the high black approval translates to actual votes. Big takeaway is that the DNC convention doesn't seem to be bumping Biden's numbers but that other polls are playing around with numbers and sampling to portray this in a way that gives Biden an artificial bump.

That's actually more appropriate than may seem at a glance, because Twitter is also rife with bots and manipulation by various powers all over the world.
Twitter as a company does the big bad along with who knows how many other organizations?

I can tell you for a fact there are companies solely devoted to manipulating Twitter. They can get anything trending that they want through sophisticated bot armies and Twitter is complicit in this.

The thing about Pennsylvania is that the feeling of betrayal is a powerful motivator and one of the few things that can instantly kill people's decades long sense of loyalty and good will.

Biden is originally from Pennsylvania. If Trump can successfully point at all the closed down and boarded up mills and factories and say, "Your native son was responsible for these places closing down with the trade deals he supported. Those steel mills went to China in exchange for money for his crackhead son. He's gonna do it again with your fracking jobs. He betrayed you once, he'll betray you twice."

How many people do you think know someone whose life fell apart when they lost their jobs after their steel mill closed?
It could just be a coincidence... or it could be that Trump lurks on KF. 🤔

Interesting... Steve Bannon has been arrested (by the Southern District of New York):

Bannon and three associates were indicted in a federal investigation in the Southern District of New York. Prosecutors allege the four defrauded donors by raising “more than $25 million to build a wall along the southern border of the United States,” but some of that money was used for personal gain.

The United States Postal Inspection Service assisted in the investigation.

Of course, there are two takeaways for this, but I can see this as a strategic move to eliminate Bannon from the campaign field.

My biggest concern is that American voters overwhelmingly vote on how they see the economy going, and it's currently in the shitter.

You can give all the usual explanations, like "it's China's fault, Trump didn't shut down cities the governors did, nothing anyone could do", etc. But they don't matter; it's a question of how the electorate feels about the economy, and if it's negative it automatically goes against the incumbent.

I wish Trump had another 1-2 months to let the bounce back be fully felt. I still think he was planning for a "grand re-opening of America for business" style campaign at the Republican convention, but had to cancel, and thus lost his best pitch for re-election.

If everyone is still depressed about the economy by the end of October, the Rust Belt states are easily in play.

I'm not concerned. Majority of Americans know who's to blame for the economy being in the 'shitter' and its not Trump. It's China and the Democrats. It's also one of the bigger reasons as to why the general public isn't going to vote for Joe Biden, because they know that Joe hasn't been steadfast against China while Trump has.

In addition, there is an economic recovery underway with the recent jobs reports beating expectations. It could be a lot worse and the fact that this country has been defying the odds by managing a recovery despite the economy being hobbled by the Chinavirus is pretty telling.

Plus Also you can trace the minute the mainstream media began to take multiple losses, and completely lose the middle-class belt of the American economy's support, entirely because they became enamoured with twitter, and indulged their inner over-educated activist harder than ever once Obama told them that's how he became president.

You also have to remember, and I am a proud son of the Keystone to know this, Pennsylvania for decades has been viciously red... except in two places, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. So our state has been carried time after time for a candidate most of PA fucking hates with a passion and voted against, but because the two biggest cities in the state said "Fuck you all" we've gone down this road. Biden is a Delawarean as far as most people in the state are concerned, which is enough of an insult for most people.

Like I said, that doesn't matter if they're still feeling down about the economy. Anger at the way things are results in a desire to change who's running things.

"recent jobs reports beating expectations" doesn't help someone who's still out of work, that is a metric only stock traders care about. Or politicians, when they want to hype up their performance for a news cycle.

People got poll bounces in the past since conventions were big public parties and massive, highly refined informercials that aired on network television for hours every night. No one gives a shit about the conventions this year since they’re just speeches by people in virtually empty rooms. Absolutely no excitement, and there’s no way to make them interesting. They’re so lame that it’s not even worth airing them - they’re boring, and nothing of substance is happening at them.

The power of conventions has already been declining over the past cycles, and this year is that trend x1000. I don’t see anyone really making up their minds or any big swings in polls based on the conventions this year.

Decided to check in and see if Liz Mair was still dumb. She is. Does she remember who won in 2008?

The fact that Liz Mair has already tried something should be a warning sign to the Biden campaign.

Trump: We've bought out ad space on every major platform, every media website, and all major hubs like Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.

Biden: Yeah well we bought out ads on GearPatrol and WebMD.

Yes, I'm sure those walls are closing in wonderfully, now. I don't even know what those last three are, lmao.

After looking through them, GearPatrol is website aimed at men to advertise manly products and is filled with listicles. Patheos is some religious discussion website, supposedly discussing all religions but of course the majority of what's on there is about Christianity and Funny or Die is some literally-who tier comedy website. The celebrity list says it all:

All websites trying to appeal to millennials. Keyword, trying.

My father is a political "ticker" in my country, but I cannot figure out why he keeps believing in the status quo of the Democrats having the advantage. This zombie has been an absolute train wreck. My dad 100% believed Hillary was going to win the election but told me one hour before everyone in the media that "He wins Florida." Yet he STILL insists that there are "enough minorities" for the Democrats to have the advantage and that Trump cant flip New York or Delaware or any state that seems too solidly Blue, but that are being fought to do so. He thinks Trump can get Maine and Minnesota though, but thinks Arizona can well go Blue.

To be honest, I think Trump is in danger of losing Arizona. He can win without it, but the count counts.
