>Do not post any imagery from this show which sexualizes children
That's a good chunk of the shit that gets discussed on /a/. It's only ok when Japan does it amirite
Go bitch at California. That’s where the servers are based, and that decides what laws apply. Nobody is going to arrest you for a drawing; there is concern over child models, however.

This was never a moral issue. Once again 4chan has always had this policy, but everyone acts surprised when enforced.

Hopefully they will delete /vg/ and allow generals once they finish adding boards. Can someone redpill me on whats wrong with /tv/ and /v/? I dont go to those boards like at all.
/tv/ has become a mini /pol/ colony where every other thread turns into political culture wars crap or every OP is obvious bait. It really makes you miss the feet threads. /v/ is the same as its always been since day one; complete shit.

So a mod telling /tv/ they will not tolerate posting underage girls is proof of 4chan's morality?

Removing this on sight probably means that the moderation leadership decided it would be a giant headache to permit. They're probably defending themselves from the pedophile colony optics.

I'm pretty sure what Netflix is doing is legal, though. 4chan is, in an odd twist, actually expressing a moral opinion of the content and that it is beneath their standards. Or at least the SJWish mods of certain boards there. I honestly can't bring myself to disagree with them on this one though.

I’m sure what Netflix is doing is legal. But 4chan doesn’t have an army of lawyers that would make this kind of risk worth it. The FBI has been up 4chan’s ass for ten years now. Again, these rules are nothing new. You can’t dox people, you can’t raid, you can’t post anything that some half-blind judge might misidentify as CP. Netflix gets to operate as it does because they’re a big company. Kiwi Farms can operate as it does because Joosh fled the country. 4chan is based in California and is on indefinite legal probation.

This was NEVER about morality.

I still think Gookmoot is a fed and that's why 4chan doesn't get shut down. He had plenty of "connections" back in Japan after all.

I can’t wait to see how /tv/ users shit on the jannies for this.

4chan is getting killed from the inside just like Something Awful did. A bunch of political extremists get mod/jannie positions, and proceed to selectively enforce the rules to the extent where people who break the wrongthink are relentlessly mocked and ostracized, if not banned outright, in order to completely shift discussion to where everything revolves around their pet political causes, all while the owner is a lazy piece of shit who doesn't care as long the site makes enough to keep the lights on. I'm certain they're doing this to ensure that /pol/ is the most popular board, and looking at 4stats it seems to be working.

/a/ usually discusses lines on paper, gl posting something else and see how far you get.

considering the state of western media these days isn't that actually on-topic?

It's a sick joke. Every week, a new /v/ board. Yet still no /incel/. It's a prank. It's a gag. They probably had these months in the making too.

april is still a few months away, so I don't know what the plan behind those general as fuck boards is supposed to be? what's next, /vcoop/, /v2d/, /vstadia/?
