Valid argument, but the other persons' argument is valid too - the riots have evolved and as a result, the riots in Kenosha take on certain angles that are more fatal than the angles presented in Minneapolis; Kenosha isn't more 'destructive', but it's certainly evolved, and organized destruction is a tad different than wanton destruction.

A better way for you to perceive it as this being the evolution of their sense of destruction - destructiveness doesn't always evolve by leading to a greater number of burning buildings, mind you; either way it's a burning clusterfuck just like Minneapolis was, fuck the details.

theres a handful of legit manufacturers that build it for leo and mil. you need the appropriate license to buy from these companies. these are usually thinner and lighter while offering the same level of protection.

Military issued body armor is fucking awful compare to similar civilian stuff and there's a very colored history of fraud and abuse in the US Army's testing and application for body armor contracts (Interceptor vest). What's issued now is a massively heavy lvl 4 ceramic plate that's somewhat sensitive to shock and being dropped, and the vests you get issued work better as a straight jacket. I wish I had more hands so I could give it 4 thumbs down. The US civilian market has a number of very reputable armor makers (AR500, CATI) that beat the military in cost, weight, and comfort while providing equal or greater ballistic performance. Any operator I met overseas that 1. had permission to buy personal armor and 2. could afford it were buying dragon skin from the private sector. If anything says "military grade," run away. The military gets armor based on a budget. Civilians buy armor based on a desire to not die.
