I've heard of criminal pro se defendants attempting to use the same interpretation of double jeopardy. Say they were already charged/convicted of a crime. They'll attempt to argue that those charges can never be brought again, so they can't be charged THIS TIME of the exact same crime. It never turns out well.This is one of the most ridiculous interpretations of double jeopardy that I've ever come across.
Too many people have an incredibly delusional, self serving interpretation of double jeopardy.
