I'm really embittered by all this shit.

I first moved to my new place thats near DC a few months ago, and I felt perfectly fine. Driving once a week into DC was a bit spotty, but outer DC always sucked, so it was best to exercise caution. The WuFlu hit, and I was fine. I still had a job, I still could go back and visit my parents a few hours away, checked if I was sick, and haven't been thank god, but I went back to work.

Then May happened. Suddenly all the fear and apprehension that was grabbing everyone from the Virus hit me like a Mack truck. I don't trust my neighbors anymore. Living in MD means that having a pistol is really illegal, but honestly, i'm at the point where if these pricks want to try to drag me out of my car because I think their protest is exceptional, I only want to take down as many as I can, even if I get sent to jail forever. I went from being damn near colorblind, or at least more tolerant than I used to be, to having my guard up when any jogger comes near me. I got enough firepower to defend my home, but I still don't think it's enough.

I've had to go to therapists because I can't relax or sleep much anymore, I don't go to places I used to, i'm just fucking sick of it all. As much as I hate the fact that buildings have been damaged, lives ruined or ended, I can't change that. I can only change myself, and all these protests have done is made me more disgusted by my fellow man. I can barely come here anymore because I'm sick of feeling angry, of seeing article after article that just proves to me that my prejudices are one hundred percent correct.

I really don't know to do anymore. Defund the Police, it'll at least help lower the ghetto scum. Let the buildings burn and average people see these fucks for what they really are. I'm beyond apathetic at this point, i'm sociopathic. And I really, really hate that I've turned out this way.
