Vegan Gains / Richard Burgess - Crazy, Baby Hater, Vegan, Drama Whore, The Keemstar of Bodybuilding Youtubers

the fek are you on? ever heard of vegan body builders and athletes lol.

if a woman follows a proper plant-based (vegan) diet, then that shit doesn't happen at all. stop spreading misinformation. it's almost like you want to make yourself feel better about not being vegan.

that said, why would anyone pay for the nudes of that boy-woman? it's totally beyond me, but to each their own i guess..

bro VG, you filmed your granddad dying and enjoyed it...you made an entire video insulting your family because they hated you for doing that. Amazing. Welcome to the Farms!

Plant foods have more iron than meat anyway.
On paper. Iron in plant matter is less bioavailable, especially if you cook it. A vitamin B12 deficiency can also inhibit iron absorption. Studies have consistently shown that vegans have higher rates of iron deficiency than omnivores, especially among the female ones for the reasons already mentioned.

This doesn't mean that a vegan diet aufomatically leads to anemia, just that a lot of vegans aren't getting enough iron due to their specific lifestyle choices. The worst thing you can do as a vegan is to just assume you're getting enough instead of practicing due diligence. You've essentially stripped a whole category of nutrition from your diet, and you should compensate accordingly and wisely. It's the dumb and smug vegans who treat kale like a panacea who are causing these statistics to go up.

FYI talking about how you're vegan and "veganism is great" isn't suddenly made an interesting point if you just say "Vegan Gains is still kind of dick though"

Vegan Gains did an interview about his wife's onlyfans which is actually funny.

Yeah... No chief.
I've not eaten meat in 5 years, and for 2 years I haven't been eating dairy except maybe once a month.
None of those things happen if you just eat food.
Are you a woman? Do you menstruate? Are you on an ULTRA low-fat diet like the Burgeressess suggest is vital for health?

I also want to stress, this isn't some weird stereotype I made up: Early menopause happens to a lot and I mean a lot of vegan women. It's even worse when they believe it's "cleansing" or "detox" or "healthy" which it most certainly is none of those things.

rofl I guess that's why they give men nothing but plants when they go into the army :story:

I'm not assuming, I check my blood regularly. My iron is in the recommended numbers.
I'm never going to believe veganism is healthy when you have to commit to blood testing (which might be expensive) just to make sure you aren't accidentally killing yourself the day you start doing it until forever.

Yes, yes, not really.

Testing your blood is not exclusive to veganism.
You would be shocked to learn how many people have deficiencies and hormone imbalances.

Have you ever lost your period or been worried veganism would make you lose your period?

You don't have to be smug and think I'm shocked, either. The blood testing is mandatory to presume the diet isn't killing you. When you're young, normally you're only going to get a blood test because you are actually feeling sick, or because you're getting a complete physical. But truthfully, many people go several years between blood tests because they're not at the risk of doing serious damage by not getting the blood tests, which is a risk no vegan can take.

You have to get tests just to make sure you're getting enough protein and aren't deficient of iron or B vitamins. Because it's a synthetic and man-made diet. it requires you to buy lots of artificially manufactured supplements, asks you to rely on factory-made plant based protein, and no culture has ever been vegan.

The diet has its advantages and disadvantages, depending on all kinds of factors. There is evidence that it can decrease blood cholesterol, as well as increase risk of stroke, for example. The problem with doing any kind of dietary research is that humans aren't lab rats, and that methodology is key. Studies can shoot themselves in the foot by not applying proper parameters.

I'd agree that it's not a 'natural' diet, given the need for supplementation and screening, but that's not really a damning point against it unless you're a crusading lunatic like Vegan Gains, who's built an e-career on denying that humans evolved to be omnivores. Supplementation and regular health checks are hardly rarities in 21th-century life, so it's a bit silly to rail against those aspects of veganism unless the vegan in question is insisting that they aren't necessary.

As far as I know, the overriding motivation for most vegans to do the diet is moral and environmental, not just health-related. I can respect their choices as long as they aren't being proselytizing dumbfucks about it.

No, I have never lost or ever had it delayed either.

You can stop convincing me I'm unhealthy now.

So you and the other accounts are either
A. Fanboys of A Ted Bundy larping vegan Genocide advocate

or

B. You are the Ted Bundy larping vegan Genocide advocate

Its a tough call here tbh. Lemme ask you this. How does a Vasectomy work for you?
Actually, I am Ted Bundy!

Honest question, has there ever been any studies looking into the brain function of vegans? From most of the interactions I've had with vegans, I get the feeling that a vegan diet negatively impacts cognitive ability.
Why?
Because they disagree with you?
Or because you decided they are inferior to you because they don't eat only a couple foods you eat?

Not because I disagree with their choice to be vegan, people can eat whatever they want, I dont care. I'm referring to their cognitive abilities and their mental stability. Many seem to be mentally ill and quite irritable. However, this is simply what I've gathered from my personal interactions with vegans, that's why I asked.

This is widely known as "vegan rage." I'm not sure if it's just selection bias (the people who become vegan might just be self-selected for that) but it seems to exist.

To be fair, this is actually my experience with the majority of vegans. They treat anyone who doesn’t eat like them as inferior and are typically pretty condescending. I don’t believe they’re the majority, but they’re the ones you hear about the most.

Yes. B-12 deficiency causes permanent nervous system damage. B-12 is found only in animal foods. Lack of cholesterol also causes brain damage, because the human brain is mostly made of fat and cholesterol. Cholesterol is only found in animal foods.

And yes, cholesterol is bad when you have too much of it, if, uhh, you eat a fried chicken 12 piece for lunch every day and weigh 300lbs, but otherwise your body needs cholesterol.

This is why "religious" level veganism is pointless and dumb. You literally can't do it without harm. You have to make an exception for B12 which has no non-animal sources sufficient to avoid deficiency.

Challenge to kiwi users : Link me a single debate where Richard (Vegan Gains) lost or was presented with arguments that Vegan Gains couldn't refute. I'll be waiting, thanks.
It's not really possible to do that since Richard typically only debates people he can beat, i.e. Frank Tufano and when he is presented with something he can't answer, he'll come up with a gem like "that's just not in the scope of the conversation", which his inexperienced opponents always seem to let slide. There is another YouTuber named Bart Kay that challenged Richard to a debate a year or two ago, and Richard agreed to this debate, thinking it would be another walk in the park. Funnily enough, after agreeing to the debate, he did a bit of background research of this "Bart Kay" and realized Bart was a published researcher (you know - someone with an actual education who knows how to read and interpret scientific research - not someone like Richard who can only parrot a couple lines from a conclusion or abstract) who was going to make him look like a fool. Richard unsurprisingly went silent for a few weeks, until he found an excuse his audience was stupid enough to believe, to get out of the debate. He made up a lie about Bart being a "doxxer" or something (lul), and as an upstanding member of society (lul) he just couldn't possibly lower himself to debate someone of such low moral character. Richard is a grifter who is has even sunk as low as to start pimping out his wife. He's a pathetic excuse for a human being and only a complete moron could actually watch this guy unironically and not see what a morally bankrupt, talentless, loser he is. The only reason he is vegan is because he thinks it gives him the moral high ground, from which he can ridicule others to make him feel better about his sorry excuse for a life.
