Trump said Joe Biden performed poorly during his Democratic presidential primary debates but improved markedly during the last debate, where he went one-on-one against Sen. Bernie Sanders. Trump suggested that the former vice president could have taken drugs that boosted his performance.
"Nobody thought that he was even going to win," the president told the Washington Examiner. "Because his debate performances were so bad. Frankly, his best performance was against Bernie. We're going to call for a drug test, by the way, because his best performance was against Bernie. It wasn't that he was Winston Churchill because he wasn't, but it was a normal, boring debate. You know, nothing amazing happened. And we are going to call for a drug test because there's no way — you can't do that.
"I don't know how he could have been so incompetent in his debate performances and then all of a sudden be okay against Bernie," Trump said. "My point is, if you go back and watch some of those numerous debates, he was so bad. He wasn't even coherent. And against Bernie, he was. And we're calling for a drug test."
The president, who noted that he takes an aspirin every day, said that he would also take a drug test.
"Go back and watch his performances in some of those debates," Trump said. "He didn't know where he was. And all of a sudden, he was not good, he was normal, and I don't understand how. I don't know if there is or not, but somebody said to me, 'He must be on drugs.' I don't know if that's true or not, but I'm asking for a drug test. Both candidates. Me, too. I take an aspirin a day."
During the previous election cycle when he ran against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Trump also suggested the presidential candidates take a drug test. His comments came after the two had debated twice.

Even just having it out there is a blow to the DNC, because if they refuse they'll look weak. They lose their attack against him, and gain suspicion of Biden. 38% of voters are already sure that Biden has dementia. Not just suspicious, but positive that he actually has it. This hits the rest of them who aren't sure or still think he's not heavily monitored.

The Democrats are over a barrel. There's no good option here, any decision they make is going to be deadly for them. If Biden denounces the violence, there goes the progressive vote, the faction they worked so hard to court. Any support from the far left that was begrudgingly given to him will evaporate. The semblance of unity in the Democratic party will begin to crumble, proving an alliance based on mutual hatred is tenuous at best.
And it will show how unsure and weak the DNC is, as they flip-flop on their decision. Calling out the rioting won't even help much because anyone with a brain will have realized the conservatives have been saying this for months. Why did the DNC wait so long before acting?
And if they continue to stay silent, with no control over the monster they created to defeat orange man, they're just going to bleed voters, especially in battleground states. No matter what they do, Trump will come off looking better. Either they vindicate him or they just let his voter base grow with every torched store and broken window.
And the real bitch of the bunch? This was all their doing. It wasn't something unpredictable like a virus. The rioting happened at their approval, in their cities, and even after red flag after red flag, warning after callously ignored warning, they chugged on ahead, hands in their ears, convinced that surely all it takes to unseat orange man is just a little more violence.
But now it's unwinding, they can't pretend anymore and they're past the point of no return. They've found themselves in the very noose they tied for Trump and it's feeling pretty tight around the neck right about now. Not to Marvel-sperg, but we've just entered the endgame. The big pieces are going to start falling off the board. The Republican convention was the first "check" call, and only now have the Democrats figured out how much of the board they gave up trying to get the king.
Drink in this moment deeply. It's the first time I've ever seen a party admit outright that they made a mistake.

The riots were allowed becasue they realized the pandemic/depression wasn't being blamed on Trump, and wasn't going to last through November... so, when the rioting first kicked off, they decided to drag their feet and kinda-but-not-really implement solutions that wouldn't completely stop it so they could keep at a slow simmering boil until Election, then turn it all "off" once Joe won... like fighting a fire with an eyedropper, "I'm putting water on it, I'm helping!" but obviously hoping it would continue to fester until they wrestled power back, then they'd break out the bucket brigade, douse it in a second and say "see? it wasn't our fault at all" .
They never dreamed once that it wouldn't work, let alone would they lose the handle on it, let alone those who they ordered to their deaths would have family coming back at them. That the people of those cities would form their own bucket brigade to put it out themselves, or that the hyped-up rioters would beat up the bucketeers...
And those people who had to die/get shot/lose their shirts by being on fire?
You are to be sacrificed and not only that, but don't you dare complain.

The entire DNC downplayed this from the second Trump started talking about it (As early as his State of the Union speech, the one Nancy ripped in half). Every single Democrat was encouraging people to go outside, go to parties, come down to New York City and have a parade with us, it's all just a big, fat nothing, and when Trump closed travel between the U.S. and China, Joe Biden called him a racist.
Trump's ban on travel with China was issued on January 31st. It wasn't until April 3rd that Joe Biden got off of his ass and supported the travel ban. (Doesn't that make him racist, now?) The only thing that Joe had to do was agree with the travel restrictions and he was still two months behind Trump.
Joe, you really need to hire better interns to write your tweets, they're getting increasingly fucking stupid.
