Eh. In context the guys rushing him thought(maybe truthfully) that he shot someone. Rushing a mass shooter isn't a morally bad thing. I don't have problems with those guys getting funding given it was mostly just a mix-up.
Is there any like actual evidence that the guys who got shot are criminals, or is that just retarded /pol/ sperging leaking into the farms again?

Yes, they have all been doxed, and I posted at least one of them in this very thread. Huber is a 5 time domestic abuser with battery and deadly weapon modifiers. Joseph Rosenbaum raped a preteen and, while in jail, assaulted as many people as he could lay his hands on. His crime was rated at risk level 3, the highest risk level as judged by case reviewers, meaning that he was highly likely to reoffend in the future and was required to actively tell everyone about his crimes under penalty of law. Shot-up arm guy was a convicted burglar.

He wasn't a "mass" shooter until a mass of idiots swarmed him trying to murder him. At most he was a guy who shot one guy who was screaming "shoot me nigger" over and over again, literally begging for it, and provoked him.

And how where they supposed to know that? You hear gunshots. Someone runs away from that direction wielding a gun. People are screaming about how he shot someone, other people are screaming for medics. Do you think "That guy this person shot must have deserved it, three cheers for the shooter!"? No, you assume that the armed guy who shot someone is a threat to you or those around you and react accordingly. There is nothing wrong with doing so.

You just saw them sperg out about how the guy who got his arm blown off had a handgun and how a skateboard counts as a legitimate weapon. At least two of the people where armed in some way, and even if they weren't people are always saying how you should totally take on the mass shooter instead of running. Even if we assume that it is an ineffective method trying to stop someone you have reason to believe is going to harm someone else while unarmed isn't morally wrong.

I don't know who, in possession of more than two working braincells, says you should totally take on a gunman if you don't have a gun.
The point is, when someone attacks you, it behooves you to neutralize the threat as quickly as possible. The attacker being armed, even if it's with a less-lethal weapon, aggravates and speeds up the decision, but it doesn't change the fact that if you get attacked you retaliate with as much violence required to end the confrontation as quickly as possible. The guys attacking the teen knew the teen was armed, they chased him as he fled, they lunged at him, they struck at him. They decided to take a chance to attack him, and they paid the price. The guy who had a pistol (and who presented himself as a "paramedic", no less) could have tried shooting down the teen. He didn't, yet he still motioned to attack, and only then pulled his pistol.
The guys who got shot acted like fucking idiots. I don't think the teen should be paying for their stupidity.
Edit: furthermore, what would have happened if the teen hadn't shot those guys? He would have been mobbed and at the very least beaten to within an inch of his life. Possibly killed. And the rioters would have a brand new rifle to play with.
