I think it's more that the general population is getting tired of the whole thing. They want to do things like get back to work, get an education, socialize with friends & loved ones, watch a movie, and attend concerts. People are basically sick of the "new" normal and want to go back to the "old" normal ASAP.
But that's getting impeded by the "experts" and governors being total flakes about reopening. Let's face it, we should logically be further along than we are, and yet they seem too eager to turtle up whenever a "spike" occurs (look no further than the way Victoria, Australia got fucked over by a single family testing "positive"). What little progress has been made is being threatened to get undone with the rumors of a second lockdown in the Fall, a move that I feel would really piss people off and possibly spark more riots.
People were more accepting of the lockdown back when it was about "flattening the curve", but now it's apparently being hinged upon some vaccine that's getting rushed and might not even be all that effective. We're looking at next year at best until it's ready to get distributed, and the governors are incredibly naïve if they think their constituents are going to accept having to endure this bullshit for another year.
Also doesn't help their credibility that they practically cheered the BLM riots on in spite of going against practically all of the guidelines they set up. If those people can get packed like sardines for months on end without dropping like flies, how come we can't go back to our lives and go to a voting booth?
The fact this ALL happened in a year of election is far FAR from coincidence. Its to motivate their beloved mall in ballots, to which they can easily fraud their way into the white house (because the left isnt even subtle about it anymore).

Why the fuck you think Brazil and U.S are getting the most infected and dead and whatever? Because they both have conservative presidents and a worryingly large and increasing conservative voter base. It doesnt help both of these two presidents are tight but that they are the biggest and most influential countries in their respective Americas. If the "experts" and governors weren't such short-sighted fools, all this should tell them that there's no need for further lockdowns and to speed reopenings up.
Seriously, if these rioters aren't dropping like flies, then there's no excuse to not get schools, businesses, and more back in operation. That way, the economy will have a smaller chance of collapsing, and constituents won't have a growing urge to lynch their governors (in Minecraft, of course).
