Kyle's side made the request to delay? That's weird. The IL charges were only "attempt to flee arrest", the murder and weapons charges were all filed in WI. I don't think the IL side would let him go anyway.

Is he trying to just stay in a jail closer to home until he can work out a deal or get charges dismissed?

Sex offender registries are removed for the deceased, depending on the jurisdiction of the registry. Some jurisdictions require that the registry be preserved even following someone's death, but this jurisdiction might not have that requirement. This is one of the downsides to places like r/TheDonald and /pol/, they very frequently jump to an immediate conclusion without doing enough due diligence, and they wind up making themselves look ridiculous.

I feel like many people haven't seen the video of what happened before the night's main event. It sickens me when people claim this kid just went to Kenosha expressly to shoot people. He offered medical aid to a protester earlier. If he went just to harm people why bother with that? And why did he wait only until his life was in danger to shoot instead of just doing it already? Seriously.

Rosenbaum also seemed really angry towards the militia. Including physically pushing them. We can't ever know his true thoughts but he seemed to have a chip on his shoulder over them and if he saw Kyle, just a kid and all alone, well...
