OIC been in the restreams asking for an interview lol dude just wants attention from detractors and DSP. If he can't get it from one he'll get it from the other.
Also DSP had 10 rewinds he could have used the whole map. He could have seen he was out of position when Judith spawned in and redid that turn to send units east to connect with her. The game urges you to go that way by putting up an old student (Ashe) and a treasure chest (Loot!) along the way. DSP took none of those bread crumbs and instead put all 10 units in a ball and ran it west. DSP barely used Dance (extra turn), has never used Warp (teleport anywhere on the map) and didn't put his healers in range of covering the NPC escort (Dorothea and Lindhardt with Physic).
You know what he did with 10 rewinds? He killed the NPC off ten times, hoping that the enemy unit would miss (18% chance) on one of the ten tries. Literal definition of insanity. He could have rewound to 2 or 3 turns earlier and sent some people east, or did any of the other above strategies to finish the mission in his "allotted time."
Wasn't it a Thursday when he played Paper Mario for an extra hour of overtime? Why not do that tonight with this game? Especially when he's talking about how long it's going to take to beat this game (November or December assuming 30 hours, but at the rate he's playing, it could be longer) he could use an extra hour here or there. Especially when he's going to game over on missions, too.
EDIT: I also have no clue how he's taking so long to play this game. He isn't taking time to consider which units to field on the map, where to field them on the map, their weapons, their abilities, their combat arts, their battalions. He's just going default default default mash mash mash start start start. I think my first play through was similar in length but I was taking time to consider the above decisions, then fast forwarding through enemy combat animations (you can hold A to speed these up, something DSP has NEVER DONE in 55 hours of gameplay). He likes to drag/stall on parts of the game that don't matter (running around the monastery talking to everyone and never using fast travel) but then rushes through parts of the game that do matter (unit load outs, inventory, skills, etc) then gets butt mad that his lack of preparation leads to him failing a mission.
tl;dr: I love Fire Emblem 3 Houses and can probably sperg more about what DSP is/isn't doing correctly. I just deep down hoped he would have enjoyed the game somewhat since it's my favorite Switch game but I don't think that's going to happen. Dude literally cannot enjoy anything anymore.
