Team Obama, activate!

Left-wing Hollywood stars are rallying around Barack Obama as evidence mounts that the former president was involved in the failed take down Gen. Michael Flynn as well as a larger clandestine effort to derail the Trump presidency. President Donald Trump has repeatedly tweeted about a massive “Obamagate” scandal, saying that Obama and Joe Biden led the “most corrupt administration in U.S. history.”

“It was OBAMAGATE, and he and Sleepy Joe led the charge. The most corrupt administration in U.S. history!” the president tweeted on Monday.

Over the weekend, leaked audio footage emerged of Obama slamming Trump. The former president claimed that the Justice Department’s decision to abandon its prosecution of Flynn means that the “basic understanding of rule of law is at risk.” He also slammed President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Loyal left-wing Hollywood celebrities have begun circling the wagons around Obama, playing defense as the #Obamagate hashtag trended on Twitter on Monday. Prominent entertainment figures including Ava DuVernay, Barbra Streisand, Patricia Arquette, and Jeffrey Wright have leapt to the former president’s aid, eager to downplay the gravity of the brewing scandal.

Could this famous thing be upon us in the near future?

Totally sucks but you could tell something was wrong back in April. He looked horrible
oof, yeah :c i lost a family member to bowel cancer and honestly he looked like this soon before he went. It just eats you up from the inside, the weight loss is incredible when you see people before and after

I wonder how much the mouse knew about this one. It was already too late to recast him due to appearing in Civil War, but he wouldn't be so hyped if the producers knew he is going to kick the bucket.
Anyways, looking forward for a cynical use of his death by politicians and celebrities, because Superhero films with few individuals imposing the morality on everyone else is very much the culture of the left.

They knew. He would’ve had to been insured at the start of filming and that means passing a physical. They were probably willing to go forward because he was a healthy young man and it was an early diagnosis.
:optimistic:

He was a very good actor besides doing capeshit. His portrayals of James Brown, and Jackie Robinson both captured those two people's essences and he wasn't just playing a variation of himself. It sucks he's gone so soon. 43 is to young to die from cancer of all things. Thankfully his family is taken care of. It makes a lot of sense why he looked so awful the past few years. Imagine being a celebrity as well known as he was an not milking this for attention. Respect. :semperfidelis:

Hang on, a man who portrayed mostly black characters?

When did he do a Tropic Thunder?

Theres a few movies where he plays either Africans or South Americans which aren't technically black.

Guess all the talk about his sister becoming the new BP makes a whole lot more sense now.

Edit: This puts all his actions from 2016 in a different light. From that interview where he cried talking about BP to him being visibly tired of doing the Wakana salute thing everywhere. He was having to put up with capeshit racial politics while looking down the barrel of death, and he didn't talk publicly about it at all.

Sad to hear of his passing. Like everyone else. I am too, shock this dude was battling cancer during the whole time he was involved with the MCU. I would have never guess.

Rest in Peace

I had no idea that he was struggling with cancer while he did the Black Panther stuff. Knowing now what he was going through, I have nothing but respect for the man.

RIP. I am heartily sick of capeshit, but I liked Boseman as an actor a lot.

Oh, ScreenRant treated this with all the taste and dignity they're known for.

I think this is the most symbolic image of how vacuous the popular media had become. The guy's corpse is still warm and the only question is what will be the new flavour on media to consume.
No need to look back at the past films, since they are a disposable film park rides that are already old.

It now makes sense why any news about Black Panther 2 was noticeably absent from Disney's Phase 4+ stuff. I get the feeling they knew and have been trying to figure out where to go. (They are probably going to have to do a recast.)
Wonder if Don Cheadle is in the running for it? He has experience in that field, afterall.

Yeah. I consider myself extremely fortunate that my father survived it. I know the odds were not good. But 6 years on and no cancer return. Granted, the two surgeries nearly killed him, and his life is forever changed, but he survived it.

And, knowing genetics, it's a loaded bullet aimed at my head, sadly.

But yeah. Fuck your politics and fuck your edgelord racism and whatever else, cancer sucks, this sucks, and my condolences to his family.
