I might be wrong but with the recent removal of Vincent James (aka The Red Elephants), I'm starting to think youtube is trying to go even further left with its algorithm. Vincent has been making political videos for years but we'll get rid of him but keep someone like Vaush around who defends CP? If you search on youtube other somewhat big time political tubers like Timpool, Styx, Sargon, etc, you'll find a video of Vaush as soon as you search which is probably why he's been growing so rapidly. Hell, even Kyle Kulinski (aka secular talk) doesn't get recommended to me as much as Vaush does as far as lefty tubers go.
When I search for Styx I'm only getting his channel popping up.
I don't think there is anything underhanded on YouTube's part here, I mean lets be real if they want a channel to grow they can easily get them multiple millions of viewers overnight. Remember that weird bitch with the Van? The people they seem to promote intentionally are the milquetoast brigade, people like De Franco. He does a fucking daily show where he reads the news and gives a bland opinion and regularly breaks 1 million views. So nah, I doubt Vaush is YouTube's attempt to make us all communists - especially given his weirdo views on economics would be antithetical to the corporations own existence.
My take is that Vaush, having spent his youth stanning for Destiny instead of going outside and making real life friends, actually learned a few tricks on what is successful with the YouTube algorithm even through it's new iterations over time. He knows that you need to get engagement with people who are already successful with the algorithm to boost yourself - therefore, get into "debates" or on a panel with anyone that has a higher view count. The vast majority of his videos use the same shit as those old Ben Shapiro videos - Ben Shapiro SCHOOLS an unprepared college student on TRANSITION SURGERY, Ben Shapiro OWNS FEMINIST on the WAGE GAP - only they pass it off as if it's ironic, when really it just seems to work with the algorithm. From there all you need to do is be mildly entertaining and you'll get a following of people who listen to you to pass the time and can pretend they're intellectuals.
Oh, and don't forget to network with other grifters to build a network of capos to help boost and cross promote all of your content, and to help you "gatekeep" the community.
Eventually the algorithm will drop him, and when he makes a misstep people will pounce on him with all the dirt he's accrued over the years. He'll stop growing but have a dedicated following he will ride into the ground as, while he huffs his farts and becomes ever more desperate to cling to relevancy. Basically, he'll end up like Srgn.
These weird political communities that spring up on YouTube every few years are almost like Chimpanzees. You get the one "alpha", but when he stumbles and falls the rest will just rip him to shreds in his moment of weakness.
