Yes. He doesn't seem to understand that suits and heavily tailored items of this type are constructed of materials that do not react well to being washed in a traditional manner. Horsehair stabilizers (both real and fake) need particular care. If he chooses to not utilize a dry cleaner he can refresh them using the old fashioned method of spritzing them with vodka and airing them out. Both work equally well. Of course stains need to be removed with care as well. Naptha can help there with spot treatments.

Needless to say Russell knows nothing of this of course.
