I think it's surprising that these kind of interactions don't happen more often. Almost everyone out at night downtown in these cities for the last few months is insane and begging for an excuse to be volatile to someone. Everyone thinks antifa are laughable but the most deranged people are attracted to how self-righteous it is. He makes a good decision to bring in the National Guard Wednesday and in the SAME thread once again rushes to judgment and condemns the wrong person. He even makes the claim that Rittenhouse was there to cause chaos. I don’t know about the rest of you, but to me the only “tragedy” here is that it took a 17 year old putting down two communists to show the mainstream right that we are in a fight to the death over the fate of this country. A pedo and a violent domestic abuser being put into the ground and a cowardly provocateur being put in the hospital when they attack a child in a mob action is no tragedy, it’s a direct result the consequence of those 3 people’s poor choices and messing with the wrong guy.

Maybe. It all depends on when and how the shooter is apprehended. if he gets taken in quietly, I can see them downplaying it and then memory holing it after enough time has passed.
If he decides to be a real cowboy about it and gets into a shootout with cops or Feds, that's the kind of thing that can't be ignored and the MSM will be given their marching orders to disavow Antifa and BLM by the DNC and the corporate bigwigs.
In Toonami's defense, this was probably produced back in June or July when every single damn company was simping for BLM and Antifa and they often plan the airdates of certain promos or PSA's weeks or months in advance.

Makes me wonder what will happen if Trump does manage to win again, Ideally, I'd say the elites would begrudgingly take the L on that one and pull back to work on a new plan for power in the 2022 and 2024 elections. I hope to God that this is not the case and that the Dems are forced to acknowledge how fucked up it's all gotten.
Still, I think this is one of those events that fully convinces the DNC and the bigwigs that Antifa is fully out of control and cannot be corralled at all. There were some signs that made me think the bigwigs were considering it as a possibility but this shit is the smoking gun that forces them to see it, even if they won't publicly admit it.
