Where I'm at we are getting a bunch of California refugees. Right-wing ones. They are just as awful shitheads as the lefties. A legacy of the Northwest Territorial Imperative. They think it's a safespace where they can start doing whatever they please as long as it's right-wing and they can be antagonistic and retarded to anyone they feel doesn't belong there. The logging and mining communities were always a bit stand-offish but not to that extent.

An example. My friend got into a confrontation with a crowd of them on his last camping trip. It all started because my friend had out-of-state plates (the place is like 30 miles from the state line). He went into town and talked to his high school buddy (he grew up there) who is a Sheriff's deputy and he came out and settled it. Turns out the folks telling out of staters to "git out" moved there from Sacramento 3 years ago.

I've got more (several involving dipshits at the range) if anyone cares.

Wealthy people already have second and third homes. I'm talking about towns that are far removed from large cities, that saw their population decline and are centered around farming and ranching. In the so-called flyover states.

I think that's a meme that's true in places like Austin TX, which is not only a city but a state capital. Big city people don't want to move to places like Wichita Falls TX or Lawton OK.

As far as shitheads from Sacramento, well, they're from Sacramento. California has always attracted people from out of state and in the 70s, 80s and 90s they were almost all Midwesterners from Minnesota/Michigan or big liberal East Coast cities like Boston, NYC and Philly. Pelosi isn't a native (there's more but I can't be bothered to list them all). Why do you think it went from red to blue in a generation? Those assholes were probably from somewhere else before being from Sacramento.

The Pacific Northwest is hosed. The entire West Coast of the USA was infiltrated and bought by the CCP years ago. The only place that hasn't been is Alaska and that's because it's too cold and expensive for cucks.
