You guys don't know how to read charts, do you?

Taken from Facebook from a doctor (and he's right; I just woke up and am too tired to type it up myself): https://www.facebook.com/mark.halstead.31/posts/10220921422219784

tl;dr: You rightwing tards don't know how to read these kind of charts

Gaiz listen to muh expert. No other experts matter just muh Facebook Doctor. Facebook, seriously? I mean you are not better than that but you could try.

Is this seriously a sports medicine doc you are quoting here?

Did we sprain an ankle?

Well at least this guy is not rabidly anti-Trump...oh wait...

Washington admits is fudging its numbers - Hulk rates it dumb

Illinois is caught inflating numbers and admits to it - Hulk rates it dumb

Pennsylvania is forced to remove numbers due to inaccuracy - Hulk rates it dumb

Listen to the experts gaiz but only when they reinforce your narrative.

Lol you're mad you fell for a boomer Facebook post. Did you even click the CDC link and go to chart 3? If you actually read the chart you can tell this is obviously misleading claims by OP and the other tards that shared this on Facebook. Or do you just not know how medical charts go? They document every ailment you have in them.

If you get admitted with covid and end up developing respiratory failure, they'll put both in your chart. Not just covid. That doesn't mean covid didn't kill you, it just means it lead to respiratory failure.

More interested to know how many of these are death from blunt trauma but also Covid.

Look up the ICD-10 codes for blunt trauma and then check out the chart. Or did you not check out the chart?

It was never a problem to begin with.
Turns out the ironic expected lies of China that it didn't kill that many people were true. They were just freaked out it COULD become a monster virus they unleashed and ends up it was weaker than any flu humanity ever encountered.

No, it definitely fucked China up, but nearly everyone there has comorbidity due to the level of pollution.

EDIT: Lol at the negrates. You guys are mad
This is stupid. Your quote tries to explain the *symptoms* of covid away as the comorbidities that are reported, but no one is dying of covid that doesn't present symptoms. The 6% should be reported as 0% if all symptoms are considered comorbidities, but that's obviously not how this works.

That is addressed in my quote. They should investigate why those 6% only had covid listed. It's likely due to a documentation error (it happens, humans make mistakes).

If someone comes to the hospital with HIV, and with the HIV developed kaposi sarcoma, and the ks is what killed them, it was still an HIV death. If someone with diabetes comes in because they had a diabetic coma and fell and hit their head and they die, it's still a diabetes death, even though the fall is what killed them.

In this case, it's covid leading to respiratory and renal failure. Do you really think those 100k+ on the chart just had renal and respiratory failure and covid just magically appeared from that? It's the other way around

This gives credence to the idea that the best prophylaxis against COVID-19 is to stop being fat and unhealthy and to take your supplements and balance your diet. Do calisthenics. Vitamin D and dietary nitrate are vital. Eat fish and vegetables. Notice anything about COVID-19’s impact on other countries? It isn’t killing large amounts of people in countries where people are rail-thin and don’t have pre-existing metabolic issues. ACE2 receptors act to lower blood pressure. If you’re fat, your body expresses more of the gene for ACE2 to help relax your blood vessels. This gives SARS-CoV-2 more sites to bind to, turning the body into a banquet for Corona-chan. If you have low inflammation, low oxidative stress, and low blood pressure normally, COVID-19 most likely won’t kill you.

The real epidemic here is obesity, hypertension, and diabetes,

That is part of it, but those countries also had a far better response than the US did. The only thing the president did was try and block travel from China after the disease was already here.

No it isn't. It's Coronoavirus exacerbating symptoms of their other ailments.

HIV is what kills you by weakening your immune system and causing you to fall victim to other infections.

But by your logic, it wouldn't be HIV that kills. That is what you are saying about covid. Covid leads to other stuff which kills (i.e. respiratory failure). But you are saying that shouldn't count as a covid death.

HIV is the pre-existing condition that kills you. COVID would be the opportunistic illness.

If you are old and already having breathing problems, COVID just makes that worse, it doesn't kill you by itself and you were just as likely to die of your pre-existing issue if something else cause your breathing problems to get worse.

This isn't that hard to figure out.

The issue here is the CDC and the WHO exaggerating the impact COVID could have had (remember when they were claiming this, by itself, was going to be responsible for killing 3.4% of the global population?) and then everyone and their dog attributing every single death of someone infected with Coronavirus as caused by the virus exclusively and refusing to acknowledge that Coronavirus was just exacerbating the symptoms of people who were already medically compromised.

There was rumors early on that it fucks with your fertility if you're a guy - no idea if it's true, though.
It was one of those scary misinfo symtpoms early on, fortunately unlike some other rumours it has largely died off, but I'll still catch the oddball smug thunk-brain citing infertility as a symptom of COVID.

The best I could find was a letter to the editor of a scientific journal claiming quote:
"If the virus causes damage to these cells, the process of spermatogenesis could be affected which might pose risk to male fertility"
Which is like 3rd degree supposition if you read into it.

Coronavirus was just exacerbating the symptoms of people who were already medically compromised.

Gonna need a peer-reviewed citation on that one buddy.

Coronavirus does take advantage of people who are more at risk, but it also does lead to other stuff in people who aren't high-risk, too (as most illnesses do). It's really not a hard concept to understand. Your original post and still doubling down on this makes it obvious that you don't know much about medicine

Right, that's why the deaths this year correlate with influenza and pneumonia deaths caused in any other year.

Since you're trying to muscle up on everyone with why COVID justified shutting down everything and suspending civil liberties, tell me why the flu strain killing people in Canada and the US last year was H1N1, the same flu strain behind the Swine Flu in 2009 AND the Spanish Flu in 1918?

If that stuff is STILL killing people, over a CENTURY later, we should just be locked down forever, right?

I mean, due to H1N1 last flu season over 9000 Canadians lost their lives. The fact that that strain if influenza is still killing people clearly means we need to do more to flatten the curve!

Except when Cook County admitted that if someone died of any cause but also tested positive for Covid, they'd be listed as a Covid death . . .

The flu kills like 30k in a very bad year. We are at six times that right now. This is more than just "correlating" with the flu.
