The average of all years charted is 37,462 deaths. There are two years under 30k estimated Flu deaths.

So, no Hulk, 30k is not a "very bad year". It is reasonable expectation of deaths in the US.

Now, this is a little nitpicky but I am kind of tired of you stating things as though they are fact when they are not and it is easily proven that they are not facts.

Kind of like you saying Trump did nothing but try to shutdown travel from China when the disease is already here.

He got corporations to ramp up production and convert to production of PPE and Ventilators. He sent hospital ships to NY and LA.

Just another example of you being provably wrong.

Oh no, I was mistaken on the number of flu deaths that went off memory. At least I admitted I was wrong and why, while you guys are still doubling down on this nonsense listed in the OP even after I thoroughly refuted it.

Yeah but when multiple peer-reviewed studies are putting this thing below 0.5% IFR, the majority of them putting it in the 0.2-0.4% IFR range, its safe to say this in NOT the 3.4% IFR plague the media & pro-lockdown interest groups are acting like it is.

Then maybe I misunderstood your comment because I assumed you to be attacking the credibility of 2020 peer-reviewed studies on COVID; which is a tactic the "we just dont know enough about [it]* yet!" crowd usually makes.

*"it" being the strain SARS-CoV-2 of the species sarbecoronavirus in the genus betacoronavirus of the coronaviridae family.
You know, that one that we "just don't know enough about yet".
