The only arguments Dick seems to have are:
a) Loli isn't illegal
Which isn't the point.
b) Muh Japan stats say pedos are less common in glorious Nippon.
only focusing of course on the fact that it's less common a crime in Japan (all types of crime are less common in Japan), while ignoring that child physical and sexual abuse rate is on the increase.
c) "Thought Crime"

I imagine records of boys being raped are lower than they should be in Afghanistan. A culture that accepts pedos is probably less likely to punish them, hence that Islamic meme comic about how not jerking off to little girls getting fucked causes children to be raped more.

Japanese Child abuse stats can't be used in an argument that loli satiates pedos since child abuse in Japan is on the rise.
This of course doesn't mean loli causes more child abuse, but it takes the "look at the stats" argument the apologists like to trow around of the table.

A lot of us have. Very few people who were regulars on the show or in the fan groups are still around. Ever noticed how most of the people who contributed to the Dick Show Album are nowhere to be found in the community anymore? Dick also plays calls from a lot of the same people week after week, with Andrew from Eugene, OR probably being one of the most consistent contributors to the show overall. The rage board is a colossal graveyard of one-offs and people who have long-since disassociated with the show.
Every podcast has its ups and downs, but the show's been coasting without a direction for a while, and Dick's pedo defense crusade has been really poisonous to the community. It doesn't matter if marketing is the entire reason Cuties had a pedo poster and Dick is 100% right. What the audience will take away from that is that Dick approves of the poster, and that's hellishly bad for his image. Come on, Dick, you're a Trump fan. You should know all about how Trump plays the image game. We've got a 2-for-1 deal with you defending Digibro to a very, very concerned Null who tried to warn you about this shit, and now you've got Cuties. I'm ready for the next episode to be all about how he loves that one anime where the 2nd grader falls in love with her teacher and does anything she can to seduce him.

I dunno, I'd wait for more concrete stuff before buying into any of it. PPP and JLH aren't exactly reliable narrators, JLH is fucking insane and I trust virtually nothing she says, and PPP twists and turns everything to keep the harvest going. Dick's taken such a weird turn feels like anything could be true, but I'm not sold.
