Money Chandlers sued for debt megathread

Frankly I'm just waiting for him to have to be in court and wonder if he'll finally drop the sonichu act or risk looking like a loony. That's assuming he goes on his own and doesn't have barb around to handle him in the courtroom. Given how she must be fed up having to leave the house for him because of his inability to be the man of the house and pay off the debts I've got a feeling mommy dearest isn't going to the courthouse this time

She's got twice the debt Chris does (about $20k vs. his about $8k according to the CWCki) and the same near immunity from garnishment because her income is all social security + pension. She even raids his SSDI + fan donations for the mortgage and her hoarding habit. Horrifying as it sounds Chris might be the voice of sanity in that house with Bob gone.

EDIT: Reposted this cause I nuked the original (which is what @El Rodrigo was responding to).

What mortgage? She got a reversed mortgage and she's stealing Chris' SSDI on the false notion that the house is in collection, meanwhile likely hiding the fact Chris is likely to be homeless once she's dead.

I'm not sure where Null got his information but it looks like he got it wrong. According to the CWCki it's an ordinary second mortgage with a principal of $130,000 and outstanding balance of about $115,000 as of August 2016.

And I don't think Chris could understand that he won't get to keep 14BC after Barb dies even if she did try to honestly explain it to him.

EDIT EDIT: Consolidated my two posts because Pizdec removed the question about the reverse mortgage.

It is not a reverse mortgage, it is just a mortgage. How many times does this need to be said?

He said it once years ago and almost immediately corrected it and, years later, it just keeps getting repeated, with the magical immortality of all bullshit.

People want to believe that because Barb is elderly and greedy that she called one of those Tom Selleck commcercials.

Barb is not going to be scammed. She is well aware of what she's doing.

I wonder if Barb got screwed by the attorney sometimes. How much did they spend on a defense? It was over 10k The attorney just ending up pulling a plea bargain and from the sounds of it he didn't even sit Chris down and tell him "be a good boy when the judge asks you a question you just say yes or no, don't say mean things about Snyder ok?" or maybe he did and Chris is just dumb as fuck. IIRC they spent all Bob's inheritance money for a simple case that ended up plea bargaining just like the public defender would do.

Barb was dumb enough to take a swing at a cop and fill her house with hoards of shit. IIRC the reverse has been confirmed false but, she did borrow against Chris's life insurance policy which apparently is a thing. I wasn't aware that it existed but, it almost sounds like Barb is counting on Chris dying before her....?

honestly, if the debt companies just do a little bit of research. like some clerk just do a quick google search of Chris, they could easily find Chris's twitter, his online store and patreon accounts, actual incomes that they can garnish from Chris, and settle the debt bit by bit. Instead, they got to play this cat and mouse game every 3 months. smh.

Nah, barb is greedy, Chris is a lunatic. Barb may take some of Chris’s money.. we call that “rent” when you’re almost fucking 40 and have multiple rooms that look like Santa’s premium toy shop. Hell, I’d say Chris has layed claim to %70 of the house at this point. Motherfucker SHOULD be pitching in. If she didn’t take it, literally ALL evidence supports Chris spending it on himself.
No, barb is why the power and WiFi stay on and Chris isn’t rubbing crystals on electrical poles to charge them up to power the house.

Who else would benefit from it? Chris’s wife and kids? Shit, somebody would scam him out of it eventually anyway, might as well be the woman who shat him into the world. If she was truly counting on Chris dying first, she would leave the policy intact.

When Barb dies.
Or if Goodwill has a big enough sale.

Chris is just one loser in the sea of losers whose debt they bought for pennies on the dollar. Why would they bother to look that closely into him? It's in no way economical to do so.

And then Chris declares bankruptcy and tells them all to go fuck themselves.

Because Null said on stream just last week that there was now a reverse mortgage, therefore some of us have concluded that she has recently taken out one. I would love to be wrong about that. Should we assume that he's just misremembering, or that there has been recent contact between him and Chris? I'm not tagging him here because that will bring the wrath.

He has to declare bankruptcy before he inherits anything.

All this Barb death talk makes me wish there WAS something to inherit. Like a million dollars and the house.

But Barb, in a last act of being Chris’s ultimate troll, had left a will saying he’d only get any of it if he was a male, gainfully employed and married to a woman within one year of her death.

Can you imagine the saga that would follow?

Chris constantly switching between halfassed attempts at finding a job, and making Youtube videos directing “those at his command” to find him a job and a wife, pronto!

Oh, the stress sighs, raging, “UGHs” and pants shitting that would result!

I doubt it’s something he’d misremember, but granted: The whole chain of evidence is pretty screwy here. It would be nice if Null would make a post and elaborate.

Here is what will happen: Continued, continued, continued, continued, continued, continued, payment plan.

Yes! She may be a borderline sociopath, a manipulator, and an all around unpleasant individual. But she isn't stupid.

In all honesty, it’s shitty that her death is going to leave Chris looking for a new home but the reality is Chris was never going to be able to maintain the house and as soon as it burned down again he’d be in a worse position.
Barb really should at least help Chris transition to an apartment so he’s not relying on trolls and Rocky when the shit hits the fan.
Who knows. Maybe she plans on murder-suicide.

Chris is going to find eviction papers pretty damn quickly once Barb dies and the mortgage defaults. The mortgage company is going to see the legal history and any attempt by Chris to keep the house is going to be hosed quickly.

Charlottesville has exploded in its housing market the last decade. Huge numbers of defense based companies and other consultant places set up shop there after moving from DC. (Washington DC is still an easy few hours drive from there if needed as well.) The land alone will be worth a decent bit.

My guess is that Chris will move to one of the surrounding counties. Like Palmyra or Orange.

Chris being evicted from 14BC is actually going to be a big blessing in disguise for him, as optimistic as it sounds, his quality of life will go up once he is away from the horde and the mould, and he is in some scummy slum landlord basic apartment.

Except he’s not going to leave behind his toys. Imagine all of his shit shoved into a tiny apartment.
