Money Chandlers sued for debt megathread

My guess is that Chris will move to one of the surrounding counties. Like Palmyra or Orange.

Chris being evicted from 14BC is actually going to be a big blessing in disguise for him, as optimistic as it sounds, his quality of life will go up once he is away from the horde and the mould, and he is in some scummy slum landlord basic apartment.

Chris has been resistant to help from white knights or his parents and gullible whenever a troll offers to "help", plus he has no idea of how to function independently. He belongs in a group home but would never go along with it so my money is on a ween/enabler/Idea Guy taking him in after a very short stint either on the streets or in a regular shelter (as in, one that doesn't have services for special needs people).

Chris has SSDI, there will always be a slumlord willing to rent to someone with a regular income.

Except he’s not going to leave behind his toys. Imagine all of his shit shoved into a tiny apartment.

This could actually turn into a whole saga in and of itself. Granted, it has been awhile since I last saw pictures of all his stuff, but I'm pretty damn sure he is going to hit hoarding problems. Most places do yearly or bi yearly inspections. He's not going to be able to afford a storage unit.

Couch surfing or shacking up with an enabler is pretty damn likely. His best case situation is some attention seeker giving him a spare room in a apartment or house.

His tugboat qualifies him for HUD section 8 housing, he could get his own apartment or duplex for approx 25% of his monthly tugboat. Ironically he will be better off financially but we all know he will just piss it away.

Chris will be homeless no matter what, he refuses get his own accommodation and he refuses to go into one of those homes for handicapped people and he will never ever took decent care of his finances. Bob was the only person who was keeping the Chandler house together and even then Chris had bad spending habits.

At this point Chris should just whore himself or start selling more of his crap.

It is not a reverse mortgage, it is just a mortgage. How many times does this need to be said?
It is undoubtedly one of the most persistent rumors that I have ever seen during my time at the CWCki, but if Chris gives up on mortgage payments after Barb passes, it will eventually lead up to eviction.

In any case, Chris has appeared to totally give up on reality. The days of CWCville as an imaginary infill city in Virginia are gone: we are now dealing with Chris coming up with entire imaginary worlds with imaginary wealth as a way to deflect responsibility. Just like that WeRe bank thing and their imaginary currency.

It's probably because it is the sort of thing Barb would actually do, and it's even possible she went and did it since then, at least if there's any equity at all. I wouldn't be shocked at any level of fucked Barb left Chris.

Unfortunately there will always be bleeding hearts too dumb to know Chris is playing them, but just smart enough to know how to help Chris. Remember that mysterious woman in a red dress whom confronted people that went to Chris's court dates? These people exist even beyond the troll community.

Maybe he can be roomates with Tommy Tooter. They seem to enjoy the same amount of filth.
Chris is too meticulous and autistic to tolerate Tooter's level of garbage or utter filth. Not to mention even Chris has standards and would not tolerate attempted rape on Tommy's part. Would make a great reality TV show, though.

The thing is, most probably, Chris will cover his ears and go "LALALA" over all the eviction thing (waiting for it to somehow miraculously sort itself out) until he is literally -physically- kicked out of the house and not a second before.

So in the end he would only be able to haphazardly salvage a "carful" of shit and leave tons of his trinkets behind, he will go bananas.

Especially with the loooooong Section 8 waitlist and associated paperwork. You can't sign that shit "Sonichu" and get in, either.

Regarding the possibility of having a reverse mortgage on the house, wouldn’t that require an assessment and inspection of the home beforehand? I don’t see how they could’ve scammed their way through one after bob died.

Any update on this? Should we expect something today?

It’s quite possible that they had one done without us knowing or noticing, no?

If it was done relatively soon after the renovation, it’s possible that the house was in much better shape than now.

You'd think fire damage would be a giant red flag to look at it again any time later. Even "completely" repaired you'd have to be worried about underlying structural problems that could only get worse.
