Plagued Waifu culture - Cartoon fuckpillows and the men (and women) who love them

Misquote, or did he edit the message? If his waifu really is Megumin, it's probably the school shooter guy.
Seems like he did edit it. Well if this his how he reacts to getting called a pedophile faggot, he'll fuck it up worse than couch cuck if he tries.
Edit - Just realized this is probably going to make me double down on thinking konosuba fags are even worse than my hero academia nutters.

Lol. Megumin ends up with the protagonist. Who is a complete jerk that would never simp for her by going on anonymous boards. So your waifu is married to another guy, with a completely different personality suggesting that she wouldn't be interested in you at all if she really was real, on top of being fictional.

If he is that guy from the picture she doesn't even look interested in him in his own photoshop fantasy. She's not even like smiling. Its like she's waiting in a line. I'd suggest you act more sexual-assaulty to turn her on, but you look like you'd have that covered already.

I can never understand the fucking mental gymnastics it takes to think that you're in an actual relationship with a fictional character if faggots like @fuckthissite are actually being serious. Like, even subconsciously, you have to be aware that she's not actually real otherwise you wouldn't feel the need to stress that "she's real to me."

Also, even if their waifus came to life, what makes them think that they'd want to be with ugly, lonely, autistic faggots with no personality beyond being the stereotypical mouth-breathing, basement-dwelling otaku? Spoiler alert: women have feelings of their own. Everyone has standards, so why the fuck should these now-living fictional entities lower their standards to be with a maladapted faggot with a virgin-whore complex?

If your waifu comes to life and she's basically a yes-woman with no mental or bodily autonomy of her own, you're lusting after a goddamn brainwashed sex slave. But hey, who am I to judge? A man can only take so many wedgies and beatings in the boy's locker room before he goes to pieces.

There's fucking nothing wrong with being a waifuist. FUCK THIS WEBSITE. I FINALLY FUCKING MADE THIS ACCOUNT JUST TO SAY IT
Lmao, you guys really do not understand how internet works. You came here and what did you expected, validation?
Just do what you love, there will always be people who do not like it. Sometimes more, sometimes less. But at the end of the day, it's your personal relationship with your loved one, opinion of others do not matter here. If critique bothers you so much, maybe just don't talk about it in public?

You know, "she's real to me" is kind of a meme. The point is, even though she is fictional, the feelings you hold for her are real. That makes the relationship real. Even if it's not technically a relationship, it feels like one, because your waifu takes a role of your partner, even if the means are a bit different.

Not sure what's sadder, the pillow or whatever the hell that food is supposed to be.

Only one problem with that, doesn't seem like most waifuists have experienced a real relationship in the flesh, at best they larp with other kinnies and waifuists online. How can they know it feels like a real relationship without having any standard of comparison?

They don't have to. Love, especially the first one, is a powerful experience. You lose interest in other girls, she is on your mind all the time, everything is butterflies, etc. At least on the beginning. And that's enough to make you feel like you are in relationship, or what you imagine a romantic relationship would look like. Even though the actual experience, as in activities, worries, hopes you experience are different, a lot of defining effects and feelings are common. And the latter I base on stories of waifuists who used to have a gf before and rather unique characteristics of love.

Question, since you're a waifuist, why do you like being here?

Also what do you personally think the difference is between a "sane" waifuist and a "crazy" one are? I've seen that thrown around on that sub and just wondering if you have an opinion on it.
