• Like 1/4 way through Sean gets a little sick of it and asks if there are any callers
• Some guy called in to shill a GoFundMe for his sister's medical fees
• Dick switches cameras to show Riley, he's wearing a fucking cape to "Show he's superior to people"
• An absolute schizo mongrel calls in to tell a story on how he got kicked out of WalMart because he was farting too much, he constantly licks his gums and it's fucking unlistenable. Seriously, skip through this section (it ends around 1:10:00)
• Reads comments, boring
• Riley says he's medically obese, nice job
• Reads a comment saying "Kids are just as perverted as adults, they just don't have the tools for it yet"

I racked my brain trying to figure out if the Patreon was fake or not, I got nowhere. PPP paying attention may yeild some results & new info. The theory that the IBS audience was the new larger audience Dax was getting that just paid less monthly falls apart now that Ralph has burned his audience to the ground with his sex tape stunt with Dax attempting to out do Ralph on the retard scale.

There is no growth from anywhere I can figure out and Dax has admitted that the audience isn't growing and his strategy is keeping his current fanbase happy. The show is not the kinda show you can just pick up and start listening to anywhere in it's history so it's not exactly new audience friendly. The shows he was guest appearing on are having their audiences fracture and fall apart and don't have audiences much bigger than his own. Dax offers less and less to patrons and sucks at his own customer service and frequently forgets to post bonus episodes for certain months or doesn't meet certain goal promises he sets.

There just aren't a lot of comedian podcasters that straddle the line of political incorrectness under the age of 50. Dick's well off enough from just being born into a fairly wealthy family, and having that SEO business, so he doesn't have to care about job applications going straight in the trash after a potential employer slaps his name into Ask Jeeves.

Hell, I still listen, but the number of podcasts I've stuck with has really thinned out during Clown World, which is gutting considering a lot of my life is spent working and listening to podcasts to not go insane. Considering how many people around Dick had started some kind of show as part of the "C U Next Tuesday" network, there's like, only ONE that's of any quality: That Larry Show, a show where a boomer tells life stories. And even that show's pretty hit-or-miss.

Revenge of the Cis is boring. Real Talk with Zuby is depressing. Sword and Scale is good, but totally not my thing. Hello Internet was tolerable but now abandoned. Aydin Paladin's videos are rambly and irritatingly sped up because she can't condense her point to save her life. And I gave up on my search to find a single video game podcast that didn't mix all kinds of consoomer capeshit and impotently angry woke messaging in with my stupid-ass vidya news. I'd rather hear Dick scream about how Nintendo's A is in a different place than the Xbox A and it makes us all a rage because the buttons are swapped around. And that's all I really want out of the show, I wanna hear Dick getting mad about shit like when you have a new roll of toilet paper and you have to tear the first piece and it tears wrong and you wind up with a big clump of TP and you have to figure out which way the roll goes. Just fill my head with that. Just some kind of voice that tells me silly shit for a few hours a week to get my mind off of the perpetual existential dread that is Clown World.

That may be it, but from the way she was talking about the pegging stuff, it seems it came up closer to the end of the relationship since she never got to use her own strap. It's possible that she got it way way after the initial chat though.

I think it's both the kid part and not being on the internet. The guy outside of turning up on Nick's or Q's show has almost zero internet presence. He's like Nick's Shaun. He is a bull in every sense of the word and into these different sex parties, but comes at it from an angle that seems more real than what Dick tries to pose as. I think it's because he's a bit more matter of fact about it, and less coy about some of the things he does, probably because he doesn't do internet podcasting for a living, he just shows up at his best friend's place or calls in on occasion.

The daughter part definitely plays a big factor. It's one thing when you live for yourself, another when you need to provide for a kid in some way. Nick got asked about Cuties and loli and said that his reaction is noticeably different than Dick's specifically because he has children. IIRC he said he could see the merit of the argument from the other side (coming of age story and escaping a rigid family structure), but specifically because he has kids and especially daughters, he thinks it's too much skin.

I think Dick is going crazy being stuck at home. Some of my favourite bits was him recounting things that happened to him that week. His encounter with Big Red at the club or his toilet being broken in a house party and his handyman "fixing" it. He can't do any of that with California going all commie lockdown with Coronavirus, so he's stuck on the internet going batshit, dealing with the wrong people (Digibro and Gunt, who are both fucking disgusting).
