In theory, early childhood education is quite cost-effective, justified by the argument that a substantial portion of the difference between black and white achievement can be addressed by such programs. Sarcastic comments about how "lower-class inner city" educational achievement of children is inversely correlated with their parents' effect on them write themselves here.
The public school system in my area is also quite expensive and quite bad, but that's mostly because all of the funding goes to administrator^ns as part of the DNC's excellent jobs program for people with too much education and too few skills. The problem with approving more funding for these public schools is that it mostly disappears into that money pit; very little of it actually sees any sort of contribution to education that I've been able to determine.

I'm reminded of something Jordan Peterson said.... about youth that weren't properly socialized, that are violent sociopathic types. And it turns out that they usually grow out of it around 25-27, and the dirty little secret of handling troubled youth is there's literally nothing else you can do about it -- and smarter people than us have tried thinking of a lot of things and none of them work.
Gives me a big thunk about this sort of thing. Like, what happens if around 25-27, your culture isn't full of stable law abiding adults working jobs, but instead are full of violent feral joggers being given free shit by the government. Would you "grow out of it" at that point?

Usually community colleges are associates, I believe. But if it's a good college and on the up and up, it'll transfer to a 4 year.
Baby steps, they'll force everyone in to 6-8 years of college and permanent debt slavery eventually, completely de-valuing the concept of a PHD in the process.

How many of the 60-odd million Trump voters from 2016 aren't voting for him this time? How many have TRANSITIONED to Biden? Both are probably in the margin of error.
Enthusiasm is way the fuck down because of social media suppression, and there's roving bands of violent communists across the country that will make your life difficult throgh doxxing fuckery and try to kill you irl for supporting the incumbent president.
None of these people have been thoroughly convinced 'wow, Orange man IS bad!', they've gone into hiding if anything. Meanwhile of the 2016 Hillary voters, I'd say at least 3/4 of them have bought into the 'Evil Cheeto Hitler' rhetoric, but among them actually voting for Biden is a pretty sickening thought.

Another thought re Quiet Kamala. All Mike Pence has to do in their debate is whip out an iPad from his inside suit pocket and play that bit where Tulsi roasts her record. Seriously, the torrent of abuse Tulsi got, calling her a Russian puppet et al, was impotent rage from twitter, but honestly no Russian stooge could possibly do a better job of ruining Kamala than what Tulsi did in the space of what? 20 seconds?
Pence should either play that clip at max volume or very blatantly recite it word for word, and watch Kamala totally seethe that she's been held accountable for these actions.

No, but it's a good way to get the credits for high school rerun courses and electives out of the way at a fraction of the cost a university would charge. It's what I did, then took online classes and in-person classes at a satellite campus to get my business degree. All while living with my parents and working retail.
