Pretty sad he wants to disappear or even kill himself over a game. It's hard to know what's going on in his head, there are tweets where he says he'd just disappear from the internet if he doesn't get the shiny charmander because he doesn't wanna be mocked for not having it, but if you check his replies to other people who are concerned about him, he says he might not be alive next year (when they rerun the shiny eggs event).
By the way, remember the "Hilda" from last time? Seems she is a regular at the pokémon masters general at /vp/ and apparently, she's known as redfag or redposter there. I don't know if she was banned because she stopped replying in that thread and the following ones, but in another thread, some anon suggested she might be using VPNs and, this is my speculation, she might be the one who taught PL how to avoid bans (click on images to expand).
