Meh i say let em. The more the merrier tbh. Especially ex lily fans. They give the best insight other than just people watchi g from the sidelines as fans are more likely to have spoken to the cows in dms or privat servers like discord patreons or what not.

There's the whole "animals that died due to gem creation" shit that obviously they can't reverse, but that's about the only thing they haven't been trying to fix. It could be better with longer episodes and more focus, but it's there with what little they had to work with at the ass end of show production.

Cartoon Network wasn't interested in being anything but a 24/7 Teen Titans Go station at the time, it was their Spongebob. The ending of SU probably would have been more expansive, but for what they had to work with it was satisfying enough.

But that's also part of the point: humans think nothing of displacing and killing animal species for our own ends. Gee it's almost like there's a subtle environmental message in this nice kid's show known for its surprisingly subtle themes?

If people really want to have a full blown war against an evil oppressor as to have some kind of message about how being an evil oppresor is bad, because nobody could figure that out on their own apparently, I don't know why they are searching for it on the same show where the protagonist will refuse to even stomp on a bug that is on his way and will stop to let it pass.

SJW like Lily always put more importance on the appearance than on the character of their individuals

even though all her characters act, speak and think the same as she does, just because they have a different color, different hair or different sex and gender she thinks that no one will notice that they are exactly the same

Lily only sees diversity as a collector of caps, different designs, colors and effects, but inside it's all plastic and metal of the same material as everyone else.

characters are more than appearances and self-inserts are mouth pieces, you are not fooling anyone with this surface view of people

there was a whole discussion about redemption and how it affects the heroes, villains and all the recent "obsession" with the stumble on cartoons that Lily wanders from time to time

what Lily doesn't understand is that sympathetic villains are not to serve as an excuse for toxic behavior, they are for the protagonist and the audience a warning story, a cautionary tale of how victims of abuse can perpetuate the cycle of abuse as a reaction or see someone with noble ideas end up prioritizing maintaining the power they got instead of using it to improve the world or think that to improve the world one must take extreme measures until they lose sight of what is right

that would be toxic heroes who do not see themselves as villains but as saviors or victims punching up, these do live on excuses and justifications for their atrocities and are in denial about being wrong
