Wanna know why? Because you shouldn't frame your whole campaign about being Anti-Trump. Even if you do, your campaign should frame it through optimism, and strength, and stability. Begging for donations like this implicitly shifts blame away from Joe and towards his own donors, like re-mortgaging your house and sending it all to the DNC would somehow change their shit campaign strategy.
I never saw Hillary coming to supporters with a begging bucket saying Trump has ALL THE MOMENTUM, what a jaw-droppingly shit campaign tactic. Not even Trump did this, who's been down in polling for 3 solid years. I don't think he's even mentioned any of that until 2 polls had him in the lead and he got to brag about it.

Trump may be up by two by their internal polling but you got to take the margin of fraud into account. Never forget that Michigan did a recount in 2016 until a judge halted it when they were starting to encounter significant vote irregularities.

Yes, which is why imo the debates are important. Normies view Biden as Generic Democrat, ime, and blow off his mistakes as him being gaffe prone. This isn't helped by any video of Biden being somewhat hard to find for normies.
So when they watch the debates, they are expecting 2016 Biden, and are going to get 2020 Biden. And I'm so excited for it.

Biden having to do the debates is a tell he’s not doing as well as the rigged polling presents. If he truly was up by 15, he could afford to take some hits like not attending debates. Nixon for example skipped the debates in 1972 because he was so far ahead there was no point in doing them.

Because 538 is owned by Disney. And they're probably using the site to push their guy (Biden). Its best to only show polls that say Biden is in the lead to try and fool the public with.
Why? Because Biden will probably be more likely to bail Disney out if shit hits the fan for them. Hollywood's really taken it up the ass this year because of covid. Disney isn't an exception to this. Though they haven't YET annouced layoffs or selling parts of the companies to others to get rid of debt.
Biden will probably allow them to continue pushing into China where as Trump will probably put the lid on it since he's ramping up to frame China as Global Enemy #1. Like he should.
I think they're in it to win it. But the only playbook they have left is the grifter one. The DNC basically courted these people when they went after that precious woke regressive vote.
The other playbook is just trying everything to see what sticks to the wall and running with it.
