I wasn't thinking about the distance. For someone still on parole, you need permission to travel out of state. They seem to go to Washington D.C. nearly every weekend. It seems like a lot of travel exemptions for someone on parole. To a parole officer, I imagine they would need a good reason for so much travel. I'm not sure just going to eat and visit friends would be a good enough excuse.To be fair regarding No. 5, Richmond to DC is not a very long drive.
