I wouldn't be surprised if there were some in the Discord or elsewhere on Reddit but I really don't care enough to check. In other news, today Alex appears to have broken his streak of daily new "bugfix" builds.
Since troubleshooting his code isn't something Alex can/would likely fob off onto a volunteer, he might've put in more work over the last two weeks than he's done over the last few years.

So I have to ask, because I just watched Alex's 'here's why Osana took so long' video.
He said not having animations, models, etc delayed her, but can't you do most of the framework with no visuals/placeholders? Osana being 'killed', 'expelled', 'befriended', etc are just game states.
Now I know Alex is just a lazy cunt who can't even be bothered to do basement tier work in the time he had, but I want to know if he's making a semi-plausible excuse (if you don't jerk off for years instead of working on the project) or if it's full retardi.

In any sane game setup, it would be bullshit, as the whole animations/models/visual layer of the entities is just one part of the setup, and the whole movement/scheduling/events section is another. You'd expect to see some setup where characters transition through different states which may trigger changes in the animator to shuffle their actions around.
However, Alex has built an incredibly convoluted ball of yarn where everything lives off the back of increasingly specific and conflicting nested conditionals. So just 'going back' and adding in the anims/changing models post fact would actually be a nightmare, because nothing is self contained in any sense. In that situation, the 'right' thing to do would be to wait, and the sane thing to do would be to strip it out entirely while waiting on those models, and implementing a proper system.
Now that I think about it, this might be why we've not actually gotten the big model overhaul. He's got hardcoded reference all over to specific anims and assets as part of his logic.

That excuse sort of works if he was building an engine from scratch and constantly refactoring the code so that he could add new features easily. It's not an excuse when you have a pre-made engine and all your code is spaghetti.

Equivocating the rivals to Fancy chairs when they are what the game revolves around
fucking idiot, to go with his analogy what he is doing is this:
1) He decided to switch from the Imperial system to Metric system without bothering to redraw the plans to scale with the new measuring system
2.) Built the furniture before the rooms and now sit there on his ass wondering why it doesn't fit well.
3) "fixed" the damage during construction with Elmer's glue
4) Tried to mishmash the architecture of a mansion, an RV, and an apartment and hoped it somehow came out good without any planning ahead.

I can't say anything about Lunar Scythe's code, but I can say that Alex made the exact same beginning Unity developer mistake and didn't implement a framerate cap so the computer running it is working a hell of a lot harder than is really necessary.

The problem is, the rivals aren't fucking "fancy chairs" that are apart of hundreds of other random furniture. The rivals are the fucking PILLARS that are (supposed to be) holding the mansion up.
Alex, people are angry because you claimed to have built a mansion when it's clear to everyone all you did was make a cardboard exterior because none of the critical structural components have been implemented.
@Gunt.Inc They were probably referring to sisefs. She was definitely NOT his girlfriend. She was just some dumb middle schooler who visited Alex's streams back in the day and Alex solicited n00dz and e-sex from her.

That was amazing. Alex needs to just hire who ever the fuck made that, I see three different names credited. they could make great memes and advertisements for him, idk why he doesn't reach out to them.
On that note, I REALLY want to make stuff like that, deep fakes are the future, I need to learn how these work.

He started building furniture before building the building itself, then realized he needed to keep warm during the night, so he rubbed two pieces of one of the chairs together until it started a fire, and used a shit ton of his other material as kindling to keep the fire going.
Occasionally the fire spreads and starts burning what he's already put together, and when that happens, he sticks his hand in to try and save whatever's burning, only to realize he's retarded and just burned his hand.
He keeps spending more time trying to add more fuel to the fire to make it through the night, rendering more and more of his material unusable.
Eventually he gave up and finally put together the burnt pieces of a chair to sit on and watch the blaze, and it keeps breaking under his weight, so he has to try and put it back together every time he tries to sit down to put together another one.
On one of these chairs, the fire's gonna spread to it while he's sitting, and he'll be engulfed, I think.
And he still has no mansion, despite claiming that he's going to build one.
