Everyone has the ability to self reflect, admit they were wrong, and admit a fault. If they get burned they can see where they went wrong and how it might be their own actions and stop said action.
But you are different. Not because you are blessed or holy or whatever excuse you pull out. You are different because you're unable to self reflect. You're wiring us fucked up stopping you from having this beneficial self reflection, whether it's your brain chemistry or psychologically, you are mentally ill.
Think of a person unable to feel pain. Sounds pretty awesome right? No suffering? But when they cut the self, they won't be able to see their injury and fix it. That injury will get infected, and so on. Your lack of self reflection is like that, you can't feel like you're at fault, but it's stopping you from fixing whatever problem you've thrown yourself into.
Something made you all insecure about your fucking around. You get all defensive, about that, about having to work, about not having any fault. About being mentally ill. Perhaps some memory you try to push away and layer argument over failed arguments as some kind of cope?
