Slowly but surely some of the big kingpins are getting scooped. That fugly troon Josh/Eva the "light mage" was someone moderately important, I believe, and he's in federal custody now. Reese Monson is in jail and he was present both for the beating of Adam Haner and the murder of Jay Danielson. The guy who tried to kill someone at Jay's funeral is locked up. Keese Love is locked up. Another couple of dudes who set fires the last few nights got locked up and also have USM holds on them. Snack Van guy's days are numbered and at this point I think the only reason he isn't arrested is because he's serving some purpose on the outside that is useful to the authorities. Getting people to incriminate themselves or something.

One of my biggest most hopes is that this unrest will wake up a lot of the black community to make them think "We can do better". Brand recognition. Pitch a show called "Elder Qweens of Sass" and you have to do ads explaining the premise, explaining what settings they would be in, why this would be funny, why you should trust the show-runners to get it right, and teasing some scenarios where it would work.

Call it "Golden Girls but Black" and the audience automatically assumes all of the above. You just need to tease some jokes to confirm the impression that "they've got a winning formula already" in the consumer's mind.

Reboots aren't just a lack of creativity, they are sometimes perfectly valid pitches that get shoehorned into existing properties just so the marketing can be lazy.
