That says it all doesn't it.
Lol, but haven't you said multiple fucking times that chairs is all that matters, that only after putting these fucking chairs in the half three-quarters broken mansion you can ask for money to hire a team of professional carpenters to finish it, huh? And "chairs"? Chairs play no part in the fucking mansion, you can throw them all away and still live there and your entire fucking game is centered around elimination of the rivals. So no, your game is more like a carousel and you spent six years to put one ugly dysfunctional horse into it.

I liked this Deepfake but does anyone know why the person who made it is saying YandereDev had a 15 year old Girlfriend when 21 years old?
Well, because he did. Also, isn't this ironic, that the previous deepfake with this sing that I've seen was this one?

Equivocating the rivals to Fancy chairs when they are what the game revolves around :story: :story: :story:

fucking idiot, to go with his analogy what he is doing is this:
1) He decided to switch from the Imperial system to Metric system without bothering to redraw the plans to scale with the new measuring system
2.) Built the furniture before the rooms and now sit there on his ass wondering why it doesn't fit well.
3) "fixed" the damage during construction with Elmer's glue
4) Tried to mishmash the architecture of a mansion, an RV, and an apartment and hoped it somehow came out good without any planning ahead.

Edit to not double-post

This is probably one of my favourite Mahan deepfakes.

The song is super catchy too, if a bit weird.

You know how I drew parallels to Prison School and Yandere Simulator? Well, I came across This post as I was looking through the thread, and wouldn't ya know it, Alex completely stole another design from a show. Oka Ruto shares not only a very close name to the character Ruu Oka from Asobi Asobase, but also shares the same club as well. Both characters came out in the same year as well (Ruu before Alex's character, of course).
There should be a compilation of all the sources Alex essentially stole from to create his game.
It really is amazing how much information is buried in this monster of a thread. This better be one hell of an OP @Banworld, cause its gonna have to hold 4 1/2 years of information.

Did some more digging:

No joke, it seems like every mechanic or even character he adds is from something else, making it the Sonichu of video games:
- Walking behind senpai and rival to ease-drop - from Persona (a game he says he loves)
- The whole game - from Hitman
- The Light Music, Theater, and Occult club leaders - These are the most obvious amalgamations of popular anime girls
- The "Teacher Rival" - literally that one character from Prison School
- The whole bullet hell magical girl mode - Touhou
- Penultimate rival - legit just Satsuki from Kill la Kill

I genuinely am struggling to think of one original idea he has come up with, while the list I wrote are the most obvious examples of stolen ideas that came to mind. When anyone is easily able to come up with a short list of ideas he stole, but has difficulty thinking of one original idea in his game, that should really make him question what he's doing.

But he won't because what he has been doing for the past few years is still giving him that Patreon tugboat.

Osana, Amai, Oka and Kizana dont summon anyone to me, just generic designs for the trope.

Osoro is Daidouji from Senran Kagura (you know if you look hard enough, you actually see Banchou Leomon)
Nurse is Compa + Sonico pretty much
Teacher is a char from Prison School
Athletic girl is Kanbaru Suruga
The little Sister is Nico from Love Live (if you consider love live into the business, you could imagine Amai is based on You from LL Sunshine)
Megami is Satsuki, as said before

incidentally, Midori might be Yae ( i think thats her name, the green haired kunoichi) from Ganbare Goemon.

So I just watched Prison School, and it looks as though the counselor isn't the only thing he has taken from it...

And of course it wouldn't be complete without a cameo of Alex himself:
View attachment 1543522
So not only is the counselor a slightly changed version of one of the main characters of this show (Meiko), but the school is exactly the same, and in the last episode you're introduced to a girl featuring hair drills very similarly to Kokona (Or the other club leader girl). Surprised to have not already seen this in the thread. I even looked up some pictures of typical Japanese high-schools, and not a single one follows the square unified design, while Yandere Simulators school is based EXACTLY off of school of this series. Alex is too lazy and uncreative to make a his own unique complex designs.
Edit: Images.
Wait, there are people here who don't know where Kokona's design was stolen from? It's the first video that greets you on the evaxephon stream FFS.
Actually, he took that mechanic from game called Natsuiro High School. Pantyshots don't function exactly as currency there, but are still quite important feature I guess.

He made video about it. It was called "Let's examine Natsuiro High School"

So no. He has no original concept at all. This project is just amalgamation of various ideas from other media. The only thing he does by himself is coding, and as we all know, it's utter garbage.
Since Nurse-chan seems to be "inspired" by Compa from Hyperdimension Neptunia series (I absolutely hate Compa for her annoying voice and uselessness) we could assume Osana might also come partially from Noire.

View attachment 187548
The whole series mocks her for not having friends because she's so harsh to everyone...because she's basically a perfectionistic tsundere. Her little sis has somewhat depressions due to Noire being such a bitch to her all the time.

Quote from her: "Did you think I was dying just because I wasn't acting like a bitch for once?!"

If that's not Osana...

Spoiler to not blow this thread with pic and me powerleveling about my favourite franchise.

(Makes me wonder where he put Vert...or if he ignored her despite Thunder Tits just because she's a fujoshi?)
Osana is based off Severa from Fire Emblem? I dunno. Doesn't ring any other bells but it's all I got.

I disagree that there's any connection.
Asobi Asobase manga may have come out in June 2015, and Alex may have added Oka Ruto to YS in November 2015, but:
* Oka appeared first in Asobi Asobase in chapter 18, which, assuming either a biweekly or monthly release schedule, came out in 2016.
* The oldest English scanlations of this manga are from 2016. The oldest English scanlations of chapter 18 are from 2020.
* Asobi Asobase didn't really take off in the Western weeb community before the 2018 anime adaptation.

This is simply a case of simultaneous use of the same lame pun. Similar case was with Osana from Komi-san.

A carpenter wouldn't try to take on a massive project such as building a mansion by himself.
Unlike Alex.
A man being a carpenter would mean he has experience and talent under his belt.
Unlike Alex.
A carpenter wouldn't build a chair using materials that aren't his own.
Unlike Alex.
A carpenter wouldn't build a chair with 3 legs that constantly falls over, it's too heavy to move and constantly glitches out of existence so i fall on my ass while i'm trying to eat my breakfast.
Unlike Alex.
A carpenter would finish a product before asking people instead of building half of a table and then asking people to pay for the other half.
Unlike Alex.

Sometimes i find it hard to tell if these people are really stuck inside a bubble and can't see anything outside of it or if they know what they really are and know they have to keep the ruse up.

carpenters don't just "build" mansions you stupid fucking cunt, i bet you never used a screwdriver on your entire life you dumbass

This is exactly why I hate Alex so much. I don't care about his game outside of being a developer myself, but it doesn't take a fucking century to make a game like Yandere. Alone it should only take a year at most to code and debug his peice of shit game, but no, Alex is special and needs 10 fucking years to make a game.

Sorry guys, I'd tell ya what games I worked on, but I risk my anonymous status if I devulge that info.

God damn Alex, stop making analogies. Analogies are not legit arguements.

I bet if Yandev was more open type of pedo he would argue for it with bullshit like "Imagine if you had to choose between fresh milk than old spoiled one. You would choose fresh one, won't you?"

Alex is also promising to tear down the poorly constructed framework once it's finished, just so that he can hire somebody else to do the whole thing properly. If the person building my house said that to me, I'd tell them to fuck off and cut out the middleman.

He probably has only heard of carpentry through games where you just go and they build you a house since developers are not going bother including all the other jobs required.

A stealth game based on Japanese anime should take that long the problem is that YandereDev wants mishmash so many aspects of varying genres of game making it extremely hard to make the game well because of balancing the aspects that clash. Then you add his lack of maintenance and planning and his code and it becomes no wonder why development has slowed down to ridiculous level for the kind of game he is developing. He is basically that on kid who is building something then says " oh but what if I add this" and does it with no regards to the effect on the structure of what they are building.

Alex is also promising to tear down the poorly constructed framework once it's finished, just so that he can hire somebody else to do the whole thing properly. If the person building my house said that to me, I'd tell them to fuck off and cut out the middleman.
Did he actually promise to rework the code after he finished the Game? I don't remember but if he did that is so fucking stupid because the most critical time for his code to be well structured is now. He hasn't promised any extra content after the game is released so other than making it easier to fix bugs whats the point of doing after the game is finished?

No, he's said that all of the code would be thrown out once Osana was finished and he'd start over. Instead of, I don't know, doing it properly the first time.

Yep. This is why he clings to “They’re just placeholders!” And “It doesn’t matter if my code is bad, it’s going to be rewritten anyway.”
His idea is that now that the demo is out, he’s putting all hopes on crowdfunding to raise money to pay professionals to fix absolutely everything. Make new models and assets, new animations, fix his shitty code. And then claimed if the crowdfunding failed he would still finish the game. Alone. Meaning he’ll be dead before significant progress is made.

Honestly, binning the entire thing and starting from scratch is absolutely the right call, if only by virtue of his existing codebase being incredible hot garbage. But that does not indemnify him of the fact that he's been paid hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years to produce what is literally and has always intended to be garbage.

And he's polishing the literal shit, knowing he'll be flushing it. He's distributing actual trash code and asking to be paid to do so.

So if the code is garbage, and the assets are all placeholder, then all Alex has produced is an idea. You could argue its /v/'s idea or someone elses idea, but its an idea. And in gamedev, Ideas are worthless. Nobody gives a shit about your idea, the only thing that matters is implementation. The best idea in the world executed poorly is still shit, and the most generic idea executed with finesse can become a great game.

If everything is trash, then all Alex really has to show for six years of work, is a slightly refined idea for a mediocre murder game.
