That aside today marks the 21st anniversary of the Dreamcasts western release and you'd think that the so called king of retro would have some sort of event to commemorate it....or at least make mention of it....no? Neither of the sort, well ok then makes sense seeing as his wheelchair viewerbase were all born around the time of the Xbox 360's release why bother.

But he also confirmed that he just leaves water in his water bottle from the earlier stream. So he's too lazy to refill the water bottle between streams even though he regularly runs out in the middle of his night stream.

Oh that Philip Burnell, always late to the party with his totally awesome debunks of things without any proof just taking his word on that since the vest streak started he also got lazy filling his water bottle and he totally doesn't do the thing it seems he very obviously does because only mentally ill people would make that Occam's Razor deduction that a lazy greaseball of a human of whom's only motivations in life is getting money and low effort content creation would build into his already short stream a modest break to beg for someone to give him money and he could do less of what he considers hard work.

The idea that any aspect of THPS1 or 2 is hard is mindboggling to me. And yeah, just like playing the OG Xbox version of Morrowind and that terrible port of Doom for the Xbox, DSP ruined THPS. The music is essential to the experience. Playing THPS without music is like playing THPS without skateboards.

Typical Phil being too meek to try and confront an accusation while it's currently happening. Kind of suspicious that he'd choose now to try and dismiss the notion now that it can't possibly be happening anymore.

My favorite part about that was it was caused by someone just asking him what he thought of the game so far. "Meh, I don't dislike it, I don't like it..." and then he decides to go on this spiel about what he thought about skater culture when he was younger.

You know, that would actually be a funny gimmick. Some old fogey playing new-ish or recent video games and ranting about how it isn't really like the beaches of Normandy.... I would be willing to bet they'd have a pretty good audience. In yesteryear, seeing the "old people react" videos was kind of amusing because of how generally insulated the old folks were from pop culture and random internet shit. Popping in to see grandpa fuss around with Doom and lose his shit because being ambushed by Charlie was more traumatizing would be great.

Instead, we have a 40 year old man child, sucking the life out of a hobby that millions of people enjoy because he's so shit at it.

Maybe he'll get white hot popular again in 25 years.
