Good for you
@FROG always nice to see people, eventually, do the right thing. Soooooo
Are you and Mitch done for good now? Because he sounded pretty butt hurt
By "people, eventually" you mean Donal, right? This was a favor to Nasser. It wasn't "the right thing" for me to get involved. This qualifies as butting in and not minding my own business.
Just making sure that's clear.
Yeah, Mitch is blaming me for the mass refunds that came from the Arkansas Times article going viral, but that's not based on anything except a misreading of the title of my livestream that night.
In that livestream, I explained that Mitch and Elizabeth had fallen for an SJW trap in which the SJW "journalist" that interviewed them presented their comments out of context in order to denigrate ComicsGate, and that the Breitweisers were actually the victims here.
I don't think Mitch listened to my livestream. I think he assumed that I was calling HIM an SJW and that I was recommending people refund him. I have never told anyone to refund anything ever.
He said that if I were a friend, I would have called him first, but Mitch and I only talk on the phone when he needs something from me. Frankly, the article in question, which mentions me by name, came out two weeks ago, and he didn't call me to explain it or make sure we were cool, so it seems like projection to me.
I guess the way that I see it is:
1. Mitch and Elizabeth exploited ComicsGate backers to get funds for RED ROOSTER so that they could get investors for ALLEGIANCE ARTS.
2. They didn't explain this to backers, and backers will be the last to receive RED ROOSTER, which will be a second printing of the story that WAL MART readers got first. I've done my best to defend him on the merits of this WalMart deal being a good thing for Indie Comics.
3. Mitch allowed an SJW to disgrace ComicsGate and me in an article for the Arkansas Times, whether he meant to or not.
4. ALLEGIANCE ARTS is proudly displaying that article, which Mitch says he was upset about, on their Facebook page, so I guess they aren't THAT upset.
5. Mitch didn't warn me about the article when it hit. My fans did, when it went viral, weeks later.
6. My Livestream on the subject of the article was fair and measured, and painted the Breitweisers as victims of SJWs. There's no way anyone decided to refund based on my livestream alone.
7. But Customers are entirely justified to refund at this point.
8. Mitch is wrong to be angry with me. I've been a better ally to him than almost anyone.
9. But I don't care if he's angry with me. He's wrong. His article did damage to me and the people he asked for money. (This is all a very familiar pattern.)
10. He needs to make amends to his IGG backers.
