Just a guess, but given Phil's general maturity/lack of real world understanding, I think he has the 80's comedy movie mindset that glasses = nerdy. Only uncool losers that nobody respects wears glasses, with said people normally getting beat up or stuffed in a locker by the stronger, more popular cool kid who can make his own authentic Italian sauce.

So let me get this straight, he’s never drove high speed on the highway since he had a panic attack while driving because he was scared his legs were going to numb or be uncontrollable due to his back injury.

So does he still have these leg pains? If he doesn’t then why should he still be afraid of the highway driving....

If he does, then why do they never show up on stream? He’s sitting there all day shaking those legs and never once has he mentioned one of his legs spazzing out or going numb, do these leg pains only surface when using the pedal of a car?

I like that the narrative has shifted (again) from a back injury causing the accident (which he never got treated for) to a recurring leg cramp causing the accident (which he never got treated for) to panic attacks resulting from the accident which he...never got treated for.

People who experience that level of debilitation often find it interferes with their lives, Phil. So they decide to actually do something about it instead of becoming a hikki who can't go anywhere without their life partner-cum-caregiver. Not everyone does, but generally it's the human condition to attempt to reverse something that's fucking up your life instead of embracing it.

Nevermind. Just adding that to my ever-growing list of qualities that make a lolcow.
