Not this big and widespread. I was out of the country when that one went down but from what I remember it was some kids throwing fire crackers down a ravine and it lit the Columbia river gorge on fire. It was a big fire, but it wasn’t on the scale of this shit.

Some of the CA fires are because PG&E are huge shitbags. They're putting more load on old cabling than it was originally intended because CA has slowly but surely gotten rid of their power generation facilities, so they buy power from out of state, pushing heavier loads on the system that was out in the woods and unimproved for decades.
PG&E equipment blows sparks, woods (which suffer from: water draining by aquifer taps by bottled water companies, almond tree orchards, dumping water into the Bay, invasive beetles (Some Chinese) killing trees, lack of brush clearing, lack of controlled burns, faggoty eco-bullshit) catch on fire and everyone loses their homes. PG&E files for bankruptcy so they can't be sued, repeat next year.
Oregon is suffering from: aquifer taps, piping the water to other places, lack of maintenance, faggotry, homeless burning shit down. Can't forget that in some places (Like the ROgue Valley) you don't own the rain, it's the property of the County, so you're not supposed to put it in rain barrels and shit.
(Funny thing is, they went to lawfare one some dude who built ponds to provide fire fighters with emergency water access and the County tried for months to fuck him. Bet they could have used that water now!)
Now we've got some fucked up shit (video evidence that lasts maybe a half hour on Twitter or Facebook before they get nuked) like mollies and fireworks being thrown into the woods, homeless and 'unknown actors' burning shit down.

Rioters are already bringing gas masks and shit because of tear gas and the riots take place in major cities that have access to intense fire fighting capabilities, and because of covid everybody already has masks that help deal with the smoke. So ironically this probably won’t clash at all.

California sure you have a point but rural Washington and Oregon especially are some of the most conservative places in the country. Oregon is an aggressive open carry state because of it. Politicize it all you want but remember that the “degeneracy” you hate so much is relegated to 2 or 3 cities, and all the damage is being done to conservative counties.
