The Entire Pacific Northwest is On Fire - Burn Baby Burn

i dont have a clue who this guy is but he sounds like hes inhaled 60,000 packs of cigarettes.
Just the Governor of California, completely ignoring any and all reasons that California caught fire for the 500,000th time in a row to blame it on some hokey nonsense instead of taking responsibility for the actual problems. You can't change if you can't learn, so California will continue to burn.

We've had heavy smoke and red-yellow-grey skies here for the past few days. One of the major fires took out some nearby small towns and got pretty close to my parents' house, but the wind has changed. The scary part is there have been multiple reports of people in the country areas wearing gas masks and attempting to set fields on fire. Some people have been looting the evacuated houses. Sometimes it really feels like the end of the world here.

This sounds like "When the poor have nothing to eat, they shall eat the rich." Knowing this is California though, I would not be surprised this is the result of Antifa or SJWs or something.

Ignoring the coast for a moment, it's always amazing to me that northeastern California has such a problem with massive fires, while western Nevada manages to get by with little 3-10 acre fires. Granted, there's a hell of a lot more people in western Nevada than NE California, so there's probably more incentive, but...fire prevention programs are fairly inexpensive relative to the costs of the fires. And it isn't like it takes a genius to figure out a giant field of cheatgrass near a bunch of trees is going to cause some trouble when lightning strikes.

But California has to ensure education, housing, feeding, medical care, cars, cable, internet, appliances, jet packs, and legal representation to all of those poor Mexicans who are immediately exposed to white supremacy as soon as they are forced, FORCED, I tell you, to cross the border into the United States of AmeriKKKa, and if they aren't taken care of Orange Man wins, and you don't want Orange Man to win do you?

Forests? What forests? LOL Lumber comes from China and Home Depot, silly alt-righter.

I get your point, but the fuckers keep burning up the state and sending smoke our way. Nevada's a pretty state (well, YMMV, but I think it's pretty), we don't need their smoke.

I'm in Oregon, but I'm sure it's even worse in California.

Seeing the peaceful farming area I grew up and spent most of my life in turned into a warzone really hurts. I always thought when something like this happened everyone would band together and help each other, but now it seems like everyone is out for themselves. Can't even trust your neighbor not to loot your house.

Frankly, I don't give a shit about the politics.

This shit is horrific, and tragic, and my heart goes out to the people and animals who have to suffer through it on top of everything else this year has given us.

Basically how I feel about it. Politics are AIDS and the people cheering this on and laughing about it are as big of spergs as the “degenerates” they claim are being punished by God.

Tons of wilderness and countless animals are being destroyed, innocent people are losing their homes and having their livelihoods destroyed, people are having to deal with toxic air which can be lethal to people with respiratory problems, it’s all on top of plenty other bullshit nobody should be having to deal with.

I’m all for laughing at the misfortune of assholes and making fun of politicians and dramawhores trying to capitalize off tragedy, but nobody deserves this shit.

Stay safe out there, everybody in that region.

I'm amazed we don't see the fires blamed on Trump, he ripped the federal grant money away for land management after the Paradise fire because it was getting laundered.

Bullshit. Have you ever seen las Vegas fart?

"Please remember to keep six feet apart while attempting to escape hellfire. If you get caught up in the blaze, oh well"

Hey wait a minute that's a metaphor for 2020.
Well at least everyone already has a mask to keep the ash out.
