For real though, after just watching episode 10 subbed, then dipping my toe into the dub... Funi is just being retarded for the ""movement"". They should have gotten someone in their 30s, at least, and the casting doesn't fit. Funi going down with Soyny some day, perhaps sooner than we think if they keep pulling this shit. Funi praising allah, this Coof shit keeping the court system even slower than it normally is. Saw they also dumped Ishuzoku, if not for Right Stuf it was likely going to end up as a casualty of Funi's new Do-Or-Die policy on the Hill of WOKE Twitter. Fuck Funi.

This only worked one time IMO, it was when some anime movie got an actually handicapped person to voice a handicapped character in a dubbed version. I think it was A Silent Voice, could be wrong tho.

I didn't give a shit, but the voice worked for me when I heard it on a clip (I still have yet to see it)

It was a silent voice. I personally enjoyed it even with the occasional wonky bit that's common for dubs.

I didn't really notice anything off about the dubbing, the main character spoke awkwardly at some points, but I put that down to him trying to translate his thoughts to his inexperienced signing.

This is my unbiased opinion btw:

Sakurai? He sounds average, not the worst, but a bit mid. He feels less manly at times & mostly bored, he's supposed to sound angry & scolding. Not terrible, just an "it works, I guess" type of voice.

Uzaki? Fuck no, she just sounds too deep, like a sassy, smug cunt version of Velma. Seriously, why use a 45 y/o hag, who's also a bitch? They have people like Faye Mata, Brittany Karbowski, or the girl from Chio's School Road. Just fucking use them.

Also, I think I've heard her use this voice somewhere. I can't tell where, but it was somewhere. I think it was Stocking.

TL;DR: She sounds a bit like Janice from F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Also, what was Uzaki's voice like in the sub? It'd help to compare and contrast the two.
