I'd argue with you that they already have reached the suburbs and also your opinions on how society works, but you seem way too mad on the internet right now.

The thread went from "Lancaster shut down this shit within 24 hours" to "OMG we're going to descend into genocide". I'm not the one with a problem keeping things in perspective here.

The "unrest" has reached the suburbs. War has not. Like I said in another post, if we get into a situation where something approaching civil war happens, the first thing that happens is rioters get followed home. You can not build a base for war and launch attacks, when you're an insurgent force fighting your literal neighbors who have doxed you with cell phone footage.

We've had all kinds of wild tangents over the last 5000 pages, but the civil war theme keeps coming up again and again, without anything new that suggests it's an actual Happening. It's always just some people getting overwhelmed by the torrent of stupidity and working through a doomer mood.

That's fine, but when you can't reason your way from "BLM got BTFO by cops again" to "massive woke army", then you also can't reason your way into "dragging people from their homes and murdering them". It's just too far a stretch to be taken seriously.

Like I've said before, I'm a literal fatalist who thinks the USA is in the collapsing empire stage, and I'm the one having to tell the thread you're being too pessimistic.

Yeah, I see your point; But the opinions in this thread are not one person. I myself just see things reaching another worrying stage of escalation that by itself would have been seen as completely doomer-tier at the beginning of the thread: things still can calm down, but I am certainly going to note things like people getting arrested for Arson and people getting so scared about that they are preforming citizen's arrests.

My strict legalist autist brain is going nuts, Lyft should be in trouble for fielding an unlicensed driver, or one that is too dumb to carry ID when you're driving commercially (you should carry ID, insurance and registration at all times when operating a vehicle for real). This is why allowing "Ride Share" drivers to bypass the red tape livery license holders have to go through is a mistake.

In the state I live in, it is illegal to drive a vehicle period without proof of license, aka your ID. If the state that situation played out in has the same rule then the cop all ready has enough to issue anything from a fix it ticket to impounding the vehicle.

The talk of civil war gets to be overbearing. Especially since these idiots seem very limited in numbers and capability. They have no allies coming to their aid. (Remember when they were crying about "Libertarians should come help"?) The CHAZ turned into a shit show. They failed at the federal courthouse. Yeah, they go into the suburbs but do what exactly? Those people were going to "Vote Blue no matter who" and they still got woken up at 2 A.M.

There won't be massed armies marching around, supply lines will continue for corporations. Life will continue the same as it always has.

If BLM could keep their tards wrangled this is a great example of police abuse.

The background story here is that an unmarked police car pulled over a Lyft driver for a broken tail light, the driver didn't have a license.

The police asked this Roderick Walker guy for an ID, which he correctly asserted he had no obligation to provide when he wasn't driving or suspected of any crime. The cops didn't like that answer and this video happened.

The whole unmarked car conducting traffic stops screams interdiction or gang unit which more often than not results in these kind of unconstitutional stops and searches.

You can detest Black Lies Matter and still acknowledge this sort of law enforcement isn't even remotely constitutional.



He did have warrants, but none of that matters because he also has no obligation to provide his ID when he wasn't driving nor suspected of a crime.
