How appropriate, mong. It being a CRIMINAL offence means his potential consequences aren't limited to a lawsuit, as criminal trials can occur whether or not civil suits are being pursued. If he blackmailed Ade with the threat of sending her employer damaging info about her (and potentially getting her fired) if she doesn't stop dropping texts then he may be looking at a criminal investigation and trial if the cops think there is enough evidence to make a case. It's unlikely to happen though unless Ade herself reports it along with all the threatening communications.
