I have one that I've been following for a long while and has been tripping my bullshit meter. Unfortunately by the time I'd realized she'd scrubbed her insta. But maybe you all can help me find more stuff?

Fashionabilityrose on ig. When I first started following her she was normal and just posted Lolita stuff and random cute outfits. Then all of a sudden she had a big burn on her leg and needed a wheelchair. And then suddenly she's in the hospital and paralyzed and tagging conversion disorder. But she came home and all that was deleted from her account. She dicked around in a wheelchair and pushed herself and showed videos of herself running over her brother for fun. But then suddenly? She started acting like she had mental retardation? And then needed a power chair and started holding her hand weird. AND tagging that she had an undiagnosed progressive neuro disorder. She used to tag Functional neurological disorder (which is conversion disorder) and that's all scrubbed now too. I found her tiktok and this girl is cringe.

Then in July? She shaves her head and starts wearing scarves and wigs left and right. She'll post videos of herself acting fine and then delete them an hour later. She hasn't deleted all her stories where you can see her hand movements and such fine.

She's scrubbed all her old photos though so now her earliest are her in a wheelchair and she deleted photos of her doing archery and all kinds of stuff. I dunno. This one is weird.

Any veteran munchie watchers that would like to weigh in on a strange case I’ve been watching unfold, unintentionally, via FB for a few years?

Via random work related stuff I ended up FB friends with a woman like eight years ago. Never paid much attention until in the past year her 14 year old daughter went from normal chubby little girl to “transboy” with new name and is now what you would assume is a retarded fat boy that plays with stim toys. The parents are old school fat lesbians and very hardcore SJW types. It was only the recent photo that made me go wtf and start digging.

The girl went from normal kid to someone completely unrecognizable in two years. They make such frequent trips to the ER that they’ve been told not to come back to their local one...so they drive 35 miles to another.

The girl has “seizures” - this is what they call them but admit doctors have told them to stop using the term seizure and call them episodes. They’ve had MRI done during these “seizures” and there is zero abnormal brain activity.

The girl and uses a wheelchair even though they can find absolutely nothing physically wrong with her (after bazillion tests) and have been told she needs to see a psychologist.

Even after being told this, by many doctors, they keep taking her to the hospital for new ailments she suddenly has. You can tell the parents don’t believe it’s all in her head and are determined someone give them physical ailment Dx. The kid is too young to know she needs to be going for ailments without clear diagnostic testing. I’m waiting for the day she finds the munchies on IG and they announce she has POTS, fibro, stretch joint zebra BS, etc.., because it’s coming.

The recent reason they went to the ER (several times) finally made me snap. Now the mom is catheridizing the kid at home and they are asking for patient advocate recommends. It’s insane.

The kid is a minor and the parents are not lolcow enough online to even merit a post. Yet. I only discovered the mother has a blog recently but it lays out the sudden munchie behavior of the last year or so well. (The rest of the blog is just years of boring, overbearing crunchie SJW parent BS) But it certainly seems to be a situation of the child doing it for the attention and a mother totally indulging and supporting it because she’s a bit nuts herself. Sort of like the Morgan situation but not nearly that extreme - yet.

There’s a reason I want a second opinion on it and need to be sure I’m not just very cynical from years of munchie watching. Just DM me if interested because I don’t want to get thread OT. If the train keeps heading where I think it is then I will do a post on them.

To what end? The parents sound like deranged lunatics raising a special dying little trans prince and it's a wonder none of the clinicians seeing this frequent flyer haven't flagged CPS or something. If there isn't some sort of illness/disorder, this is all very strange, very MBP behaviour.

NO healthcare professional, or amateur, has ever said this chick is "on the cutting edge of medicine". Being obese due to steroid abuse due to being a munchie is not rare. Perhaps she was actually being evaluated for factitious disorder? Another of our "maladaptive externalization of psychological distress" cases. Girl, nobody thinks your shit is neat or cute. Or rare. This doctor was humoring her. Its a trick they use to make sure they don't have to agree with you, but not seem like they are disagreeing to your face. They say something like, "I haven't heard anything like this in the literature, it certainly is an interesting set of symptoms. I'm going to look into this more", so they don't have to say, "You are full of shit". Its called being professional. It isn't very therapeutic to tell one's patients they are full of shit.

We all know how it is SOOPER RARE to... get an electric wheelchair scooter because you are too fat to function. And all the heavy infusions. Right. The infusions are the problem. Not the chins. Or the lack of ability to physically move the gargantuan carcass you have made for yourself. The body in this pic is from two years ago, btw. Now the *heavy* infusions have landed her in a chair. Not a manual, though. Far too much exercise. That hurts too much. Better just eat, instead.

PNES is exactly what they were told she was experiencing.

They catheterized her because she started claiming she couldn’t pee, suddenly. Of course they took her straight to the local ER. (I think they’ve been told not to bring her to the ER for her “seizures” but will address other issues) After tests again found nothing I think the ER peeps just did a cath to get her out of there. But then she claimed she couldn’t pee again...rinse repeat ER visits. After several visits the hospital just taught one of them how to do a cath so they would stop coming in with the same complaint.

Just suddenly claiming you can’t pee is weird. It’s also something totally within the girl’s control and easy enough and lie about. Putting up with a cath for attention though, wow. The can’t pee stuff comes a week after a second hospital told them to go to a psychologist after a exhaustive second round of brain scans showed no reason for “seizures.” I think she realized there would be no more hospital visits for that issue.

The whole shitshow seemed to be triggered by a legit injury, or at least I assumed it was legit, a year ago. A leg fracture got her crutches to use and she used them for a long long time. I think this was her first taste of medical attention as a teen and it was like crack.

Yeah, I think kid is instigating, it gets her everything she wants (drama, attention, catering, all her fav foods, no school, no pressure, etc...) but the mom is primed and ready to make her a “cause” and project.

The have an older child that they got Dx with “adhd” and “sensory processing disorder” but they couldn’t get the Aspberger’s Dx they wanted. (I found it interesting they specifically wanted the aspbergers Dx, not that icky autism /ASD label. The older kid didn’t seem to want to play her reindeer games probably because he’s a boy (a real one).

The boy leaving the nest I think caused some issues and making the younger one a sickly dependent forever seems likely.

Those are my tax dollars. Fuck you. I am paying for her to not get out of bed all damn day and complaining the gibs aren't enough, while refusing to work because WAAAH you can only keep most of your gov't check on top of your income. Ford didn't even cut benefits, I'm pretty sure his govt encourages the programs that try to keep it from becoming a welfare trap, he's just tightened up the requirements to get it because it's so heavily abused by fucking munchie layabouts.

Having gone to an ER with severe pain and no idea what was wrong with me, once I had a sepsis diagnosis, no one was letting me go anywhere to just relax and take motherfucking vitamins. I eventually had coma and multiple organ failure fucking shit (luckily one at a time), so my experience may be especially fucked, but you get a sepsis diagnosis, you get major antibiotics right away, they do not mess around w that shit. I am not sure everyone gets an automatic hospital stay, but I knew a few other people who had milder sepsis than I had and still got parked in a hospital bed with antibiotics. No one fucking cures sepsis with vitamins and herbal remedies. Someone needs to choke on their granola
