I don’t think Dax actually is a libertarian. He lacks the principles or moral compass it takes to even aspire to that label. He advocates no actual ideology or philosophy. The simple fact is that Dax Herrera is a mental, emotional, and intellectual toddler. It’s not that fucking deep.

Reason has been leaning left for years. How I wish the “bleeding heart libertarians” were bleeding from self-inflicted gunshot wounds to the head instead. Point is, Reason only represents a narrow wedge of self-proclaimed libertarians. They’re decidedly not aligned with the Ludwig von Mises Institute types, for starters. And Dax wouldn’t even know who that is, because he’s a big fucking baby, not someone trying to form a coherent worldview or subscribe to a values system.

Non-sociopaths who refuse to ever admit fault usually do so because they grew up in a home where to say “I don’t know” or “I was wrong” would have endangered their sense of safety.
