Want another lockdown in the US?

Better fucking pay me 100% of my pre-covvid layoff salary in the US then, libs.

You'll get Bread, Government Cheese, and if you're lucky your landlord's mortgage won't collapse while he can't throw you out for not paying rent.

Economics are not the left's strong suit. Their daddies let them live rent free in the summer mansion what do you mean you guys can't just do that?!

Anyone care to share their most absurd covid situation/moment you’ve been through? Mine was having to attend a deposition with masks on all the lawyers and court reporter and the despondent having to repeat themselves multiple times and being interrupted by the court reporter because they couldn’t understand them. Very smart on their part wanting to do in person instead of zoom, it really broke up the defense counsels questions and stopped them from getting any momentum.

There was no archive of this, so hopefully not late in the sense that it hasn't been posted yet.

Coronavirus was not the main cause of death for nearly one third of recorded Covid-19 victims in July and August, research by Oxford University has found.

Analysis shows that around 30 percent of people included in the coronavirus death toll by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) over the summer months had died primarily from other conditions.

Etc.

That's the case fatality rate (CFR) not the infection fatality rate (IFR) you fucking moron. It's been almost an entire year and we're just barely scratching up to 200,000 deaths. We're not going to suddenly rocket up by ~3190%. Jesus Christ I hate fear-mongers. Even CNN was smart enough to delete this shit once the dude who hammered out the math admitted that he fucked it up because he makes a living by eating paint chips.

I just love the way Freedom of Religion got trampled on throughout this farce (and I suppose Freedom of Assembly too, if you're not part of BLM or ANTIFA), it's always nice to have personal liberties get sacrificed "for our own good" without our input.

Although, I have to wonder if Pelosi "followed science" when she went to that salon. Rules for us, but not for her.

I love how only part of the first amendment is okay, but the other part isn’t. It’s not even like it’s a different amendment either. This whole thing is a giant fucking joke.

The uprising has begun!

““I’m not telling people what to do or think, the government is doing a great job of that already. It’s about freedom of choice, I believe people should have the right to think for themselves.” ”

Sir Van Morrison has accused the government of "taking our freedom" in three new songs that protest against the coronavirus lockdown.

In the lyrics, he claims scientists are "making up crooked facts" to justify measures that "enslave" the population.

"The new normal, is not normal," he sings. "We were born to be free".

And "Sir" Van Morrison at that!

I've attended my state fair for the last 16 years. I take two days off work every year so I can spend time and not be rushed. I've made friends with a large number of the people that come to compete and show their livestock, the people who come to sell their homemade wares, as well as the volunteers who freely give their time to keep things running. It brings me genuine joy to see those people, catch up, and have fellowship with them. Knowing that there won't be a fair this year is really disappointing. I especially feel bad for all of the kids that won't get to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells that bring them excitement, joy, and wonder. Can we please get back to normal ASAP, and not this "new normal" bullshit, please?

Here in Ohio, the state and county fairs are big damn deal and while I think the State Fair was cancelled outright, our governor waited to give out his "guidance" and "restrictions" until the one his grandkids had presentations in was over.

The most annoying part of this is how you're now being shamed by low information individuals who didn't know china pox was a thing until the media started talking about it.

This thread was created in late January, at that time people were already fearmongering about the virus for a few weeks on the internet. I remember being on the subway in early February and being concerned with people sneezing and coughing. It wasn't until late march that lockdowns began. By that time I had already gone through my personal concern and stopped being worried, but instead you get this circus of people panicking because the media tells them to be afraid.

We're in september now, soon october, and you now got people shaming you for not wearing a mask on the subway.
You fucking moron!
The time to be worried and wearing a mask was over half a year ago, all the people actually in danger have already died or bunkered down. Stop being the stasi and realize you spent half the pandemic in blissful ignorance breathing all over the rest of us.

Oh no the more annoying part is the middle info dumbasses.

The one that knows that an N95 mask is only 22% effective in blocking out coronachan particles.
BUT THEN APPARENTLY doesn't know that if the best mask they can get is only 22% effective, then it's a fucking retarded notion to be smug about it.

Especially while smugly chuckling with your cloth mask, so the top part falls off and your nose gets exposed.

All of the people I know who are now militant COVID warriors were the ones making fun of COVID and the people worried about it or prepping for it in the beginning and calling masks stupid and saying they'd never wear one in a million years, but they'd never own up to it. They'd just say "Well we just didn't know enough, now I'm listening to the science!" No, we knew plenty. I've gone back and read the first few months of this thread and it's mind boggling how much information was posted on here before the majority of people and especially the media even acknowledged it. It's amazing how much came out of China that were it not all ignored or suppressed may very well have prevented COVID from having had the impact on the rest of the world that it has.

This year has at least been beneficial in identifying which of my friends and family are easily manipulated by the media and libs. And it has really opened my eyes to just how truly evil the media and libs are. Like, I already didn't trust the media at all and I wasn't too keen on how the liberal parties in the world were going along with SJW bullshit, but after COVID and the riots and the responses to them, I know now how utterly vile these people are.
