I saw "No. No. No." trending and knew what had happened. Came here to see the Kiwis already on the ball.

RGB should have been retired long ago and enjoying her retirement with her family, just like Joe Biden should be. Instead, a very sick old woman became a pawn of her own (and her party's) political agenda. What a mess.

I really hope we get another female justice. It's probably the only way to avoid even more of a freakout from the usual suspects.

If they do lose, they'll most likely do nothing but torch their own cities/counties. I really hope that Trump takes it, it will be the capstone of 2020 and it will be a very merry Christmas indeed.

Yes and no. Democrats started the precedent by preventing George H.W. Bush from allowing his choice to even receive a confirmation vote. Republicans decided to follow Biden's rule when Obama wanted to replace Scalia. Now we potentially have a repeat of that situation. If Democrats succeed in delaying a confirmation vote prior to the inauguration of a new President (i.e. the man that established the precedent to begin with which would be immensely ironic), then they will pretty much have enshrined the Biden rule.

I get that argument, I'm just concerned about the opposite- the Left SUPER-MOTIVATED to flip the Senate and/or defeat Trump if they move quickly and look like they're grave-dancing or whatever. I don't care about RBG or the screeching that Leftists will do, only how motivated Biden's turnout will be and if these machinations and the appearance of "dirty trick" or "she's not even cold" would increase it.
