Have we ever had a general strike in modern times? It seems all those sperging out for a general strike have never really worked a day in their lives.

And then there's those who are demanding street-level violence.... apparently already forgetting how well that made the public flock to Democrats these last 5 months....

Just do it! God Damn it! All this shit talking and nothing happens! FUCKING DO IT!

It's like high school. Perpetually.

The Democrats should try the "lose with dignity" thing the Republicans did, they could learn a few things.

2020 has been just an implosion for liberals.

Also I was wondering if the dark god responsible for keeping RBG alive was the same one keeping Biden alive.

Guess a check bounced.

Trump should honestly fill the goddamn seat.

And the reason is due to RGB and other athiest secular fucktards who believe they will live forever.

Religious people understand you never know when death will take you.

Trump does not know if he will win the election and if he does, will he have a senate majority. To not fill the seat in such times of treason and hypocrisy thinking he will win is arrogant.

Trump should fill the seat and be done with it. They gonna hate him anyways no matter what he does.

Someone may have said this but her imminent death must have been an open secret since Trump was just talking about his updated SCOTUS candidate list this past week.

They should fill it ASAP. A SCOTUS seat up for grabs is what would energize Dem voters. If it gets filled pronto the rest of the wind would be sucked out of their already flagging sails. Crush them.

That's why I said use someone who has been in the public political eye for years without any accusations of anything.

That doesn't matter. At this point the Dems will just outright make something up. Hell Kavanaugh was a dude most of them talked up before they decided he was and always had been Rapey McRaperson. They'd know it was a lie, the Republicans would know it was a lie, the country would know it was a lie, but that no longer matters, it's all about the spectacle at this point.

The family member I mentioned who died of the same kind of cancer (although 20 years younger) was in hospice for 10 weeks before she died. People knew.

Something like 40% of adults can't even be bothered to vote, asking for a general strike on a partisan political issue just doesn't work.
Around 70% of the adult population just won't do it.

Not just any Friday, but on Rosh Hashanah. Which (and please, any Kiwis in the tribe feel free to correct this) apparently means she was "righteous." I have the sneaking suspicion she's been on ice for several days.

Oh, and as someone who had a family member die of this exact same illness, there is no fucking way she was dictating Constitutionally suspect deathbed wishes "a few days ago." She's probably been in deep coma for almost a week.
Dying of metastatic pancreatic cancer? The last sounds she would have made in the days before slipping into the merciful oblivion of that coma would have been incoherent moans of agony. So yeah, I'm pressing X to doubt. Maybe she said it back in June or July, but she sure as fuck didn't say it--or anything remotely intelligible--just a few days ago.
