It doesnt matter. There is a lame duck congressional session in the fall. The republicans literally have until January to approve a replacement. There is no need to rush, unless we feel there is imperative need to have 9 judges before election day.........we are fucked.

Yeah late term abortions are hard and expensive as fuck to get, and lots of conditions aren't detectable until fairly late in pregnancy (for example I think it's 20 weeks for anencephaly). Of course abortions of pregnancies that are just simply unwanted are almost always done very early on, but if you have a wanted pregnancy that you find out went tits up pretty late in the game you're fucked if you can't afford the tens of thousands of dollars it costs to get an abortion at that point.

And while taxpayer dollars aren't allowed to be used for abortions, they sure as fuck go towards keeping taters like Luna, Kaylie, and the Hartley gremlins on life support.
