Local article on the Rochester shooting:

Emergency services in New York state are responding to a mass shooting in Rochester, local officials and witnesses say. At least a dozen people are believed to have been shot.

The incident began just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday when officers were called to a shooting near Goodman Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, where a large crowd had gathered outside.

Details about the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known.

According to initial reports, at least 12 people have been shot, including two people who were pronounced dead at the scene. Other details about the number of victims or their conditions were not immediately known.

There is no word on the status of the shooter or shooters.

Sounds kind of residential. Maybe it was a mob vs a household?

Apparently happened at a memorial for a previously killed person.

Edit 2: Suspicions of gang violence, but you have to scrape Twitter kind of hard to find anything about it right now. The weird location (at memorial, seems like in a worse part of town with gang violence), the drive-by nature, it seems, (no reported suspects at the moment), the wide area in which people were shot (according to streamer) implies to me it was gang violence. No immediate camera footage, too, and we know antifa/blm rioters love having their cameras recording everything all the time.

Edit 3: Apparently took place at the vigil for the victim of this shooting a week ago: https://www.democratandchronicle.co...near-cobbs-hill-park-rochester-ny/5778262002/

These people do this to themselves. They've legitimately given themselves anger issues, stress and anxiety for nothing. It's telling that she's not mournful or sad about the loss of a life, but angry at RBG for the political ramifications. There's no empathy.

Why would she film this and post it? I can't imagine living with such pure vitriol; I keep expecting her to have a heart attack in that video.

In that case, sounds like gang violence to me. Somebody in a gang gets killed, then when a vigil or even the funeral service is held, opposing gangmembers know EXACTLY where everyone affiliated with that person and that gang will be. Makes for a fine opportunity to settle old scores I guess. "Black lives matter" except when anyone tries to discuss the elephant in the room, aka black-on-black violence.

Sounds like run of the mill gang insanity but we shall see.

Apparently Portland Police were banned from being able to use tear gas
however, the feds don't have to give to fucks about the city so they've been throwing it like hotcakes

Lots of people wounded and 2 dead kind of sounds like gang violence to me. Usually joggers trying to blast someone in a crowd with pistols and their bullets ricochet everywhere and hit everyone but who they were aiming at but don't kill people as much as if it was someone shooting into the crowd with a rifle. But that's only 2 we know of so far so it definitely could be some unhinged psycho shooting into a crowd.

Portland Andy has rochester stream but it seems kinda dead, some dude rambling

It sort of makes you think. They declared St. Kyle to have committed a "mass shooting" when he shot three people. If the metric is that low, wouldn't that drag in a lot of gang battles too? Yet they always say all the mass shooters are white.

I mean, I know Black people don't take the accuracy perk, but if you include random passersby, there must be enough people shot half of the time to qualify under that definition.

When you hear gun-grabbers go on about how America had 6 gorillion mass shootings this year jogger on jogger violence generally makes up the vast majority of those.

In reality there are probably on average two or three incidents per week in Chicago that would be qualified as a "mass shooting" if the perpetrator were a different color or unaffiliated with a gang. Not to mention most of the mass shootings and ambush type murders get memoryholed fairly quick. Micah Xavier Johnson, Gavin Eugene Long, DeWayne Craddock, etc, all memoryholed shortly after. Hell, even Connor Betts in Dayton was purportedly Antifa-related. Memory-holed.

But the stereotype of the "mass shooter" is some lanky white kid in a black trenchcoat. In truth, I'll bet if you collected nationwide reports of shootings involving 3+ fatalities, you would find that the vast majority are related to gang violence or drugs and the perpetrator and victims are most likely black. Even if you filtered it to merely school shootings, I'd bet most of them occur at inner-city schools, though that research would be difficult since usually they won't release the names of juvenile suspects.
