The Dems on the campaign trail will have a harder time convincing anyone that Trump's SC pick is a monster who will put women across the nation in chains if there is an actual name and face to the pick instead of it being a formless phantom of a person, scare tactics work when you don't know WHO it's going to be, but can assure people it'll be bad.

Like how during the primaries, the generic "Democratic Challenger" polls well against the incumbent Republican, but, once a candidate is picked, support immediately halves, or worse, because the generic unknown has no flaws or gaffes or unpopular policy.
